MacStories Weekly: Issue 532 is previewed as a mix of links, app debuts, and recaps of MacStories articles and podcasts. Its two highlighted features focus on building iOS apps with multiple Claude accounts and dividing agent work between Codex and Claude Code. The accessible preview also points to an iOS 27 indie-app roundup, setup notes, and Apple developer news; it does not establish the complete contents of the member issue.
What Issue 532 previews
The MacStories homepage highlights two features: Federico’s “Building iOS Apps with Multiple Claude Accounts, T3 Code, Cua Spaces, and pstack,” and John’s “How I Split My Agent Work Between Codex and Claude Code and the Agent Apps I’m Testing.” Their titles point to practical questions about managing multiple AI accounts and assigning work across coding agents, but the accessible preview does not provide enough detail to reconstruct either feature’s full methods or conclusions.

MacStories describes the weekly issue as including its usual links, app debuts, and recaps of articles and podcasts. The preview is not a verified full table of contents, so the items below are the other coverage surfaced on the homepage, not a claim that they exhaust Issue 532.
Five indie apps highlighted for iOS 27
In “Our Favorite Indie Apps for iOS 27, Vol. 3,” John Voorhees groups five apps around distinct everyday jobs. These are the article’s editorial picks, not the result of an independent comparative test. Features and prices described by the publisher may change.

The preview does not provide a complete, current comparison of platform support, pricing, or privacy practices for these apps. Check each app’s current listing and privacy disclosures before choosing one, especially if you plan to store sensitive financial or smart-home information.
Setup notes: products mentioned, with different levels of hands-on detail
The setup coverage names several physical products, but a mention is not the same as a review. The author says they tried the XTEINK 3 and enjoyed creating a custom interface. They had also purchased an XTEINK 4 Pro but were still waiting for a free weekend to explore it further, so the article does not establish an in-depth assessment of that reader.

Apple’s October 2 announcement sets out the company’s position. MacStories’ commentary challenges the framing of Full Disk Access as primarily a backup-app permission, citing other uses and arguing for protections that preserve the Mac’s utility. That is MacStories’ criticism, not Apple’s stated view.

iPhone Duo submissions are open to developers
Apple’s October 5, 2026 developer announcement says apps and games for iPhone Duo can be submitted in App Store Connect, and that customers will be able to get the device starting October 23, 2026. Apple describes Xcode 27.1 support for recompiling existing apps, Device Hub visualization across poses and orientations, and updated guidance for screenshots and product-page assets. From April 2027, submissions will need to include iPhone Duo screenshots.
The MacStories homepage also points to Apple’s design and App Store asset guidance and to Federico’s Frames CLI 1.5.0, which MacStories characterizes as having experimental iPhone Duo support. That description does not establish a general release or guarantee that the tool fits every developer’s workflow.
