Who is Kim Keever?

According to SDxCentral, Keever spent well over a decade at Cox Communications, where she helped build the company’s cyber risk management program. Her reported responsibilities covered network security, threat intelligence, identity management, and resilience across operational technology and devices, third parties, and customers.

Two CISA-hosted records document historical advisory work. A November 14, 2024 NSTAC meeting summary lists Keever as a member of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. A separate 2024 draft NSTAC report lists her as a Cox Communications subcommittee co-chair. These records establish past involvement; they do not confirm that she remains an NSTAC member in October 2026.

What has Lumen officially said?

The sources available for this article did not include a Lumen announcement or official biography confirming Keever’s appointment. The hire and career information should therefore be attributed to SDxCentral, while Lumen’s own overview supports only the broader point that security services are part of its enterprise portfolio.
