Its main strengths are a wave-shaped keyframe, a cushioned palm rest and dedicated media and shortcut keys. Its main trade-offs are a USB Unifying receiver instead of Bluetooth, two AA batteries, and some hotkey features that depend on Logitech’s legacy SetPoint software. Whether the shape suits your hands is a personal call. The comfort claims below come from Logitech, not from independent testing.
What you are buying
The K350 pairs a curved, wave-shaped keyframe with a conventional straight key layout, so the letters and modifiers sit where most keyboard users expect them. It is a full-size board with a cushioned palm rest along the front edge. Connection runs through a USB Unifying receiver, and the keyboard takes two AA alkaline batteries, according to Logitech’s K350 user guide.

Logitech announced the K350 in 2009. Its product claims and manual describe the hardware as it was designed then, so check the box and current stock before assuming the same specifications apply to a unit you buy today.
The pros
A wave-shaped keyframe that keeps a familiar layout
Logitech describes the design as a blend of a curved, wave-shaped keyframe and the familiarity of a straight keyboard layout. The appeal is that you get a contoured typing surface without relearning where keys are. Whether the curve reduces strain for you is not something Logitech’s materials prove; it is a design intent you can test for yourself.
#1 Best Overall
- Improved Typing Posture: Type more naturally with a curved, split keyframe and reduce muscle strain on your wrists and forearms thanks to the sloping keyboard design
- Pillowed Wrist Rest: Curved wrist rest with memory foam layer offers typing comfort with 54 per cent more wrist support; 25 per cent less wrist bending compared to standard keyboard without palm rest
- Perfect Stroke Keys: Scooped keys match the shape of your fingertips so you can type with confidence on a wireless keyboard crafted for comfort, precision and fluidity
- Adjustable Palm Lift: Whether seated or standing, keep your wrists in total comfort and a natural typing posture with ergonomically-designed tilt legs of 0, -4 and -7 degrees
- Ergonomist Approved: The ERGO K860 wireless ergonomic keyboard is certified by United States Ergonomics to improve posture and lower muscle strain
A cushioned palm rest
The palm rest is the feature Logitech emphasizes most. Its 2009 announcement states: “A cushioned palm rest helps position your hands comfortably and properly on the keyboard.” That is Logitech’s wording, and it describes an intended benefit. No independent ergonomic study or named expert evaluation of the K350 was located to confirm it.
Dedicated media and shortcut keys
The K350 includes dedicated keys for media navigation, a media player key, zoom controls, calculator, sleep and battery status, according to the user guide. For people who use these functions often, that saves a modifier combination. Not every shortcut is guaranteed to behave the same on current operating systems; see the software section below.
A receiver that can share with other peripherals
Logitech’s Unifying technology lets compatible peripherals share one USB receiver. Logitech’s Canadian MK550 product page says up to six compatible peripherals can pair through one receiver. The K350 user guide specifically describes adding a compatible wireless mouse to the same receiver. Confirm that any device you plan to add is Unifying-compatible before you buy it.

A battery-life figure, with its limits
Logitech’s 2009 announcement claimed “up to three years” of battery life. That is a manufacturer’s upper figure, not a result from independent testing, and it will vary with how much you type and the conditions you use the keyboard in.
The cons
The connection depends on a USB receiver
The documented K350 setup uses a USB Unifying receiver. You need a free USB port, and the receiver has to stay within range of the keyboard. Keyboards that connect over Bluetooth do not take a port, but the K350 does not offer that route. This matters most on laptops with few ports or on machines where you want to keep the receiver out of a hub.
Two AA cells to replace
The guide specifies two AA alkaline batteries. Expect to replace them rather than charge the keyboard, and factor that ongoing cost into the decision.

Some hotkeys need legacy software
The user guide says SetPoint is required to enable or customize certain hotkeys, including F-key, zoom, Vista and media functions. If you want those extras to work, install SetPoint and confirm it supports your operating system. Logitech’s K350 materials do not establish current software compatibility, so treat that as an open question rather than a given.

Comfort is individual
Curved shapes and palm rests suit some hands and not others. Neither Logitech’s materials nor any independent study located for this article shows that the K350 reduces strain or fits every hand size. Try the keyboard in a store if you can, or check return terms before you commit.
Availability varies by region
Logitech Canada’s MK550 page describes the K350 keyboard but marks that combo as unavailable in Canada. That listing does not settle whether standalone K350 units are still sold, or whether stock exists in your country. Check the current listing from Logitech or your retailer before buying.

Setup and troubleshooting Logitech documents
If the keyboard stops responding, Logitech’s user guide suggests the following checks, in this order:
- Confirm the keyboard’s power switch is on.
- Check that the batteries are installed correctly, or replace them.
- Plug the Unifying receiver into a different USB port.
- Move the receiver closer to the keyboard, or use the receiver extender if one came with your kit.
- Reconnect the keyboard through Logitech’s Unifying software.
- Restart the computer.
These are the manufacturer’s documented steps. They have not been timed or tested for this article.

K350 compared with Logitech’s Wave Keys
Logitech’s newer Wave Keys page documents a different connection set. The table below compares only the features each official source states.

|---|---|---|
| Connection | USB Unifying receiver | Bluetooth and Logi Bolt receiver |

The table compares documented features only. It does not show which keyboard feels better to type on.
Who the K350 suits
- You have a spare USB port and want a Logitech keyboard with a wave-shaped layout and a palm rest.
- You use media and zoom keys often and can install SetPoint on your system.
- You plan to share one receiver with a compatible Logitech mouse.
- You are comfortable replacing two AA batteries periodically.
Look at newer options if you need Bluetooth, switching between several computers or phones, or hotkeys that work without legacy software.
