Its strongest advantages are portability, multi-device connectivity and customizable controls; its biggest compromises are touch scrolling and a shape that reviewers disagree about for extended use. It makes the most sense as a compact everyday-work mouse—not as an ergonomic primary mouse or a competitive gaming mouse.
What the Logitech Mobi Fold offers
Logitech introduced the Mobi Fold on June 10, 2026 as its first foldable mouse. It connects over Bluetooth to as many as three devices, has two customizable buttons and uses an Adaptive Touch Scrolling surface instead of a traditional wheel. Logitech rates its sensor at up to 4,000 DPI. The company lists support for Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS and Linux; check current compatibility details for your specific device and operating-system version before buying. Logitech’s launch announcement describes the product and its launch configurations.

Opening the mouse turns it on; folding it turns it off, according to Logitech. It recharges through USB-C. The consumer model is primarily Bluetooth: do not assume it includes a Logi Bolt receiver. Logitech’s separately announced Mobi Fold for Business package includes a USB-C Bolt receiver and Sync support, and is a distinct business-oriented version.

It packs down for travel
Portability is the defining benefit. The folding body is designed to take up less room in a bag or pocket than a conventional mouse, and RTINGS and Tom’s Guide also identify travel convenience as a strength. If you often work away from a desk and prefer a mouse to a laptop trackpad, this is the clearest reason to consider it.

- Quiet clicks: Less distraction and more focus; ideal for shared spaces and public environments
It can serve multiple Bluetooth devices
Logitech advertises connections to up to three devices, which is useful if you regularly move between a laptop, tablet or phone. The supported operating systems span major desktop and mobile platforms, though the exact experience and configuration options can vary by platform.
Controls and sensitivity are configurable
The two buttons can be customized, and the sensor is rated up to 4,000 DPI. Tom’s Guide reports using Logitech Options+ to adjust DPI and button behavior. That software-based flexibility should not be confused with identical out-of-box configuration on every supported operating system.

It charges over USB-C and powers down by folding
There is no separate power switch in the basic fold-to-use design Logitech describes: unfold to work and fold to turn the mouse off. Logitech’s launch announcement claims up to 30 days of use on a full charge and 22 hours of use from a one-minute charge. Tom’s Guide later reported Logitech battery claims of 32 days over Bluetooth and 33 days with Bolt. These are manufacturer estimates reported at different times, not guaranteed runtimes; actual results depend on use.
Logitech Mobi Fold cons
Comfort depends on your hand and how long you use it
Reviews do not converge on one comfort verdict. RTINGS says the shape is not particularly comfortable for long stretches, and PCWorld criticizes its narrow, low-profile design. Tom’s Guide’s reviewer found the arch comfortable for their hand but warned that people with larger hands may find it very small. If you need a mouse for long daily sessions, try to judge its size and grip in person or buy from a seller with a suitable return policy.

Touch scrolling is less precise than a physical wheel for some work
The touch surface replaces the familiar tactile scroll wheel. Both RTINGS and Tom’s Guide report imprecise or jumpy scrolling. That can be a meaningful drawback in spreadsheets, long documents or other tasks where controlled, repeatable wheel movement matters. If you strongly prefer a physical wheel, this is likely the most important functional compromise.
Quiet-click marketing does not guarantee silent clicks
Logitech markets quiet-click behavior, but Tom’s Guide’s reviewer found the clicks loud. Treat “quiet” as a manufacturer positioning claim, not a promise of silent operation in a shared office, library or recording space.

It is not built for serious gaming
RTINGS reports a 125 Hz polling rate, high and inconsistent click latency, and a shape not designed for competitive FPS or MMO play. It can still handle casual desktop pointing, but gaming performance should not be the reason to buy it.

Who should consider the Mobi Fold?
- Consider it if fitting a mouse into a small travel kit matters more than having a full-size shape, tactile wheel or gaming-focused performance.
- Look elsewhere if you spend long stretches at a desk, have larger hands and prefer a roomier grip, rely on precise physical-wheel scrolling, need silent clicks, or want a competitive gaming mouse.
- Check the package carefully if you need a USB receiver: the business package and consumer product are not interchangeable, and the consumer model should not be assumed to include Bolt.
For comparison, RTINGS evaluates it alongside Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 M350s, MX Anywhere models, Apple Magic Mouse and Microsoft Arc/Surface Arc products. Compare packed size, grip comfort, scrolling method, device switching, receiver inclusion and local price rather than assuming one design is best for everyone.

Price and buying context

Logitech’s June 10, 2026 launch announcement gave launch MSRPs of $79.99 USD, $119.99 CAD, €79.99 and £69.99. Verdict
The Mobi Fold is a specialized convenience product, not an all-purpose upgrade over a conventional mouse. Its folding form and multi-device Bluetooth make a coherent case for travel and mobile work, but the low-profile fit and less precise touch scrolling are real day-to-day trade-offs. Choose it when compact carry is the priority; choose a conventional mouse when comfort over long sessions, wheel control or gaming performance comes first.
