The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX is a 60 g wireless gaming mouse for right-handed players who want a larger, asymmetric shape. Its core specifications closely match the symmetric PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2, so the main reason to choose the DEX is its shape—not a proven performance advantage. It is most likely to suit players who want more support for a palm or claw grip; it is less suitable if you prefer a symmetric mouse or need Bluetooth.
What are the main pros and cons?
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| 60 g manufacturer-listed weight | Asymmetric, right-handed shape will not suit every hand or grip |
| HERO 2 sensor, LIGHTSPEED wireless, and LIGHTFORCE switches | No Bluetooth, according to GamesRadar |
| Larger ergonomic shape offers more support for palm or claw grips, according to RTINGS | Its core performance is virtually identical to the standard PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2, according to RTINGS |
| Logitech advertises up to 95 hours of battery life | The advertised maximum is not a guarantee of typical runtime |
What makes the DEX a good gaming mouse?
Lightweight construction
Logitech lists the DEX at 60 g. Some competitive players prefer a lighter mouse because it takes less effort to move, but weight alone does not guarantee better aim or performance. Comfort, control, and personal preference still matter.

High-end sensor and wireless specifications
The DEX uses Logitech’s HERO 2 sensor, LIGHTSPEED wireless, and LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches. Logitech says HERO 2 tracks above 888 inches per second and 88G acceleration, and its product page lists sensitivity up to 44,000 DPI. The company’s September 2024 launch announcement says LIGHTSPEED supports up to 8 kHz polling. These are manufacturer specifications, not proof of a practical advantage for every player.

LIGHTFORCE combines optical sensing with a mechanical component, according to Logitech. The feature set is substantial, but the available comparisons do not establish that the DEX’s sensor or switches outperform those in the standard PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2.

Supportive right-handed shape
RTINGS describes the DEX as having a larger right-handed form, a medium-sized hump, and a fairly wide back. That shape provides more support for palm or claw grips than the symmetric sibling’s form. Logitech says the design was developed with feedback from professional Counter-Strike and Valorant players; that describes the development process, not a guarantee that the shape will feel comfortable to you.
Long advertised battery life
Logitech advertises up to 95 hours of battery life. Treat that as a manufacturer-stated maximum rather than an expected runtime for every setup: actual battery life can vary with use and settings, including polling rate.

- Meticulously designed in collaboration with many of the world’s leading esports pros. Engineered to win, being the pinnacle of our continued pursuit for the highest levels of performance
- Ultra-lightweight at under 63 grams, with hyper-minimal redesign achieving nearly 25% weight reduction compared to standard PRO Wireless mouse
- Powered by Lightspeed, PRO X Superlight is our fastest and most reliable PRO mouse yet
- Incredibly precise, fast and consistent control with Hero Sensor, designed from the ground up by Logitech G engineers for the best possible gaming performance

What are the DEX’s drawbacks?
The shape is not universal
The DEX is intentionally asymmetric and designed for right-handed use. Its larger shape may be welcome if you want a more supportive palm or claw grip, but it is a poor match if you prefer a symmetric mouse, need a left-hand-friendly form, or find larger mice uncomfortable.

It does not include Bluetooth
GamesRadar lists 2.4 GHz wireless and wired connectivity, but no Bluetooth. That limits its usefulness if you want Bluetooth pairing or easy switching between devices. The DEX is positioned as a gaming mouse, so consider whether its connection options fit your other uses as well.

Do not expect a performance upgrade over the standard model
RTINGS reports virtually identical performance between the DEX and the standard PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2. The evidence points to shape as the meaningful distinction, not a faster or more accurate sensor in the DEX.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How is the DEX different from the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2?
| Decision point | PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX | PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Shape | Asymmetric, right-handed; larger form | Symmetric |
| Grip support | More supportive for palm or claw grip, according to RTINGS | Less defined as an ergonomic right-handed form; symmetric shape is the key contrast |
| Weight and performance | 60 g; RTINGS says performance is virtually identical to the sibling | RTINGS says the models weigh nearly the same and perform virtually identically |
| Bluetooth | No Bluetooth, according to GamesRadar | Not stated in the cited comparison sources |
Choose by shape first. The DEX is the more natural candidate if you want an asymmetric, right-handed mouse with added palm or claw support. The standard model is the more direct fit if you want a symmetric outline. The sources do not establish a current price difference that should decide between them.

Who should buy the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX?
- Consider it if you are right-handed, prefer a larger asymmetric shape, and want the extra support RTINGS describes for palm or claw grips.
- Look elsewhere or try the shape first if you prefer symmetric designs, need a left-hand-friendly shape, or are unsure whether a wider back and medium hump will suit your hand.
- Do not choose it for a claimed sensor advantage over the standard PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2; the available comparison says their performance is virtually identical.
- Check your connection needs if you want Bluetooth or frequent device switching, since GamesRadar reports that the DEX lacks Bluetooth.
