What is Limbival?
Limbival is an upcoming single-player action roguelite from Cryers For The Future, listed as both developer and publisher. Its Steam page also categorizes it as an indie and RPG title, with first-person arena shooter and roguelite among its tags. The premise begins in a circus arena after the player’s limbs have been cut off, setting up combat against circus monsters using limbs taken from enemies. The game has not been released, and the official listing carries a pre-alpha trailer label. There are no player reviews on the captured Steam pages, so the available descriptions explain the intended systems but do not establish how they feel in practice.

How is limb-based combat supposed to work?
Defeated enemies provide limbs that the player can attach to different body parts. The listing says each limb has unique effects, and using limbs builds familiarity with them; players can also upgrade limbs. That points to a combat loop built around choosing and developing body-part combinations rather than relying on a single fixed weapon set.

Between waves, a shop offers assistance in exchange for money the player has saved. The stated objective is to survive and clear every wave, giving the limb choices and spending decisions a wave-by-wave context. The store pages do not specify the complete set of limb effects, upgrade paths, shop items, or wave count.

Which platforms and languages are listed?
The main game page provides system-requirement sections for Windows and SteamOS + Linux. The demo page also lists Windows and Linux requirements. These entries indicate the platforms shown on Steam; they do not confirm tested performance or compatibility on every configuration.
- Windows: The full-game listing specifies Windows 10, an Intel Core i7-4700MQ processor, and an NVIDIA GT 730M graphics card. It marks a sound card as optional but does not state a memory requirement in the listed minimums.
- Linux: The full-game listing names “Arch Btw,” an Intel Core i7-4700MQ, and an NVIDIA GT 730M; it does not provide a memory entry. The wording “Arch Btw” appears as listed and should not be treated as a complete, clear compatibility specification.
- Languages: The full game lists English and Turkish for interface and subtitles; full audio is not listed. The demo page also lists English and Turkish.
The demo’s Windows minimums specify Windows 10, 8 GB RAM, the same processor and graphics card, and 1 GB of storage. Its Linux section says “Arch Btw,” lists the same processor and graphics card, and gives 1 GB of storage, but its 4 MB RAM entry is unusually small and should not be relied on as a dependable requirement without developer clarification. Check Steam’s current Limbival and demo listings for updated requirements and availability.

What content warning does Steam give?
The developer-provided content description on the full-game listing says: “This game contains unrealistic violence and is not suitable for all ages.” The full-game page also uses gore and horror tags, while the demo page includes a gore tag. The central premise involves limbs being removed and used in combat, so the game is presented as a violent, horror-tinged experience rather than a suitable choice for every audience.
