For lightweight wireless gaming mice, compare more than DPI or the biggest polling-rate number: weight, sensor, wireless mode, polling setting and battery claims all affect the choice. The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 has the clearest manufacturer specification set here; the SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2 offers distinct Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz battery claims; and the Razer Viper V3 Pro is a direct peer, but the available comparison evidence does not establish enough numeric specifications to rank it fully.

At a glance: the specifications that can be compared

Mouse Weight Sensor Maximum polling rate Battery information
Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 LIGHTSPEED 60 g, as surfaced in a Logitech product-page search result accessed in 2026; check the exact regional SKU specification. Logitech product page HERO 2; up to 44,000 DPI, per Logitech. Logitech product page Up to 8 kHz, per Logitech. Logitech product page 95 hours of constant-motion rechargeable battery life, per Logitech Support; the cited specification does not state a polling-rate condition. Logitech Support specification
SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2 not stated in the cited review sources TrueMove 26K, as reported by TechRadar. TechRadar review Up to 4,000 Hz, as reported by TechRadar; the cited review does not specify a separate receiver requirement. TechRadar review Manufacturer claims reported by TechRadar: up to 200 hours over Bluetooth or up to 120 hours over 2.4 GHz. Tom’s Guide reported about 60% charge remaining after around 15 hours in its 4,000 Hz, 2.4 GHz test. TechRadar review; Tom’s Guide review
Razer Viper V3 Pro RTINGS says it is lighter than the Logitech PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2, but its cited comparison does not provide the exact figures needed here. RTINGS comparison not stated in the cited comparison fields not stated in the cited comparison fields not stated in the cited comparison fields

How to read the comparison

Weight is only one part of handling

A lighter mouse can appeal to players who make frequent or broad movements, but grams alone do not establish which model will feel better. Shape, hand size, grip and personal preference matter; the cited sources do not provide a common fit test across all three mice. The available RTINGS comparison supports only the relative observation that the Viper V3 Pro is lighter than the Logitech, not a complete numeric ranking.

DPI ceilings do not rank sensor quality

Logitech specifies the HERO 2 at up to 44,000 DPI, while TechRadar identifies the Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2’s TrueMove 26K sensor. These figures describe sensor capability, not a direct tracking-quality result. A very high DPI ceiling is not, by itself, evidence that a mouse will perform better in play.

Polling rate is a maximum capability, not a default recommendation

Logitech specifies up to 8 kHz for the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2; TechRadar reports up to 4,000 Hz for the Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2. Higher polling can mean more frequent position updates, but the maximum alone does not settle whether the setting is useful for a particular player. The cited sources do not establish a like-for-like test of these mice at matching settings, nor do they specify all receiver requirements.

Battery life depends on connection and settings

Do not compare the Aerox’s Bluetooth claim directly with its 2.4 GHz claim as if they described the same use. TechRadar reports SteelSeries’ maximum claims as up to 200 hours over Bluetooth and up to 120 hours over 2.4 GHz. They are stated maximums, not a promise of typical runtime, and the report does not attach those figures to a specific polling rate.

Tom’s Guide gives a useful but narrower point of reference: in its review test, the Aerox had about 60% battery left after around 15 hours using 4,000 Hz over 2.4 GHz. That is one reviewer’s test under those conditions, not a universal forecast or a direct validation of either maximum claim.

Logitech Support lists 95 hours of constant-motion rechargeable battery life for the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2. The cited support specification does not state a polling-rate condition, so it should not be treated as directly comparable to the Aerox test at 4,000 Hz. Battery life for the Viper V3 Pro is not established by the cited comparison fields.

Which one should you shortlist?

  • Choose the Logitech for a clearly documented high polling ceiling: Logitech specifies HERO 2, up to 44,000 DPI and up to 8 kHz, alongside its 95-hour constant-motion battery specification.
  • Consider the Aerox if Bluetooth flexibility matters: its reported maximum battery claim is higher over Bluetooth than over 2.4 GHz. If using its 4,000 Hz setting over 2.4 GHz, treat the Tom’s Guide result as a condition-specific test rather than a routine battery estimate.
  • Keep the Viper V3 Pro in the fit comparison: RTINGS describes it as lighter than the Logitech, but the available evidence here is insufficient for an apples-to-apples numeric comparison of its sensor, polling rate and battery life.

Before deciding, check the exact regional SKU specifications and compare each mouse at the connection mode and polling setting you expect to use. If possible, prioritize hand fit alongside weight: the available sources do not establish a universal shape winner.
