Its headline features are an approximately 59 g body, a PixArt PAW3950 sensor and up to 8,000 Hz polling over 2.4 GHz wireless or USB-C wired connections—not Bluetooth.
What the Lenovo Legion Aurora Y7 MG offers
The Y7 MG pairs a lightweight design with a metal upper shell and a high-end optical sensor. Its stated dimensions are 119.22 × 62.05 × 38.20 mm, and its weight is approximately 59 g. IT Home’s launch report identifies the top shell and button covers as aluminum-magnesium alloy, with an ABS plastic base. IT Home’s July 24, 2026 report lists the detailed specifications.

Does it support wireless 8K polling?
Yes. Launch coverage says the mouse supports up to 8,000 Hz polling when connected through its 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, as well as over USB-C. Bluetooth is also listed as a connection option, but the reported 8,000 Hz modes are 2.4 GHz wireless and wired USB-C. Notebookcheck’s July 25, 2026 report likewise distinguishes those modes and says Lenovo recommends a recent high-end PC for best performance at that polling rate.

An 8,000 Hz maximum is a supported specification, not proof that every player or computer will notice a benefit. The cited launch coverage does not establish independently tested latency or show how performance changes across systems.

How much does the Y7 MG cost, and where is it available?
The reported China-market launch price was ¥499. Lenovo’s product knowledge page also lists ¥499 as a reference price for the Cloud Silver variant, dated July 28, 2026; this is a dated China-market figure, not a confirmed price for other countries or a guarantee of current pricing. Lenovo’s product knowledge page lists the model and reference price.
International availability was unconfirmed in Notebookcheck’s July 25, 2026 report. Lenovo’s captured China store listing showed the Storm Gray model but marked it unavailable. Availability can change, so buyers outside China should look for a confirmed local listing rather than assume the launch price or stock applies in their region. What remains unknown
The published specifications and launch reports establish the mouse’s headline hardware, but they do not provide independent results for battery life, latency, comfort or durability. The 500 mAh battery capacity alone does not establish how long the mouse runs between charges. Notebookcheck also reports a 50–42,000 DPI range, but that is a reported specification rather than an independent test result.
