The 317-piece set is recommended for ages 9 and up and includes a Batman minifigure. The “first” distinction is specific: ComicBook.com describes it as LEGO’s first set based on the Batman: Arkham games, not LEGO’s first Arkham-themed set.
What is LEGO set 67009?
The LEGO Arkham Batman Batmobile 67009 is a buildable vehicle inspired by the Batman: Arkham game series. LEGO’s Singapore product listing gives it 317 pieces, a recommended age of 9+, and a Batman minifigure. The official page describes the model as having functional suspension and a removable rear panel that opens to hidden storage.

LEGO also says the set includes an in-game Golden Red Brick unlock for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. That is a digital tie-in alongside the physical build.

ComicBook.com reported a US price of $29.99 in its October 5, 2026 coverage. That figure is secondary reporting: the LEGO product page reviewed for this article is the Singapore listing, which displays a Singapore-dollar price, not a US price. Check LEGO’s US product page or a US retailer for local pricing and availability before buying.
Why the “first” claim needs a qualification
LEGO already has an Arkham Asylum set. Set 76300 was announced in July 2025 and released for purchase beginning September 12, 2025. It represents the asylum setting, but the available reporting identifies 67009 as the first LEGO set specifically based on the Batman: Arkham games.
Rank #2
- Includes 8 minifigures: BatmanTM, Robin, The Joker, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Dr Harleen Quinzel, Scarecrow and a guard, all with assorted weapons
- Features Arkham Asylum, security gate, gothic décor, moss, vines and ice elements
- Break through the gate with the security van
- Vehicles include security van
- Arkham Asylum features opening cell doors, special Poison Ivy cell with transparent doors and Mr Freeze icy tower room
The distinction matters: an Arkham location or theme is not the same thing as a product based on the video-game series. LEGO’s 2025 announcement listed 2,953 pieces and 16 minifigures for 76300. Its original regional prices were €299.99, £269.99, and $299.99; those are historical launch prices for the Asylum set, not pricing for the 2027 Batmobile.

How does it differ from Arkham Asylum 76300?
| Set | What it represents | Pieces and audience | Notable details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arkham Batman Batmobile 67009 | Batmobile associated with the Batman: Arkham games, according to ComicBook.com’s October 2026 report | 317 pieces; ages 9+ | Batman minifigure, functional suspension, hidden storage, and an in-game Golden Red Brick unlock; LEGO currently lists January 1, 2027 as the release date. |
| Arkham Asylum 76300 | Arkham Asylum display build | 2,953 pieces; adult-oriented display set | LEGO’s US product page describes a modular build that separates into three segments, with 16 minifigures, an inmate delivery van, opening cells, and 65 stickers. |
The two sets serve different purposes: 67009 is a substantially smaller vehicle build with play features, while 76300 is a large, detailed display model. Their prices should not be treated as a like-for-like current comparison: the Batmobile’s US figure is reported by a news outlet, while the Asylum amounts above are its 2025 regional launch prices.
