For a character-led display, LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (77093) is the clearest choice: it is built as a diorama, with Link, Zelda, Navi and a removable, poseable Ganon. The retired Nintendo Entertainment System (71374) is the most recognizable retro-hardware display, while Blathers’s Museum Collection offers an Animal Crossing setting built around exhibits and The Roost café. These are recommendations for display subject matter—not claims about build quality, collector demand or investment returns.
At a glance: which LEGO Nintendo set suits your display?
| Set | Best fit | Display idea | Availability note |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (77093) | Character-focused Zelda display | A scene from the game’s final battle, with Link, Zelda and Navi facing Ganon; Ganon can be removed and posed. | LEGO’s official article describes the set as a display diorama. Check your regional product page for current availability. LEGO product announcement |
| The Legend of Zelda: Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (77092) | A second Zelda subject to consider alongside 77093 | LEGO identifies it as the earlier Zelda set; the cited material does not establish comparable dimensions or a full feature list. | Verify current regional availability and price on LEGO’s storefront. | Nintendo Entertainment System (71374) | Classic Nintendo hardware nostalgia | A console, controller, Game Pak cartridge and retro-style TV; LEGO calls the TV a display item. | LEGO’s GB product page labels it “Retired product.” That is a regional listing status, not a guarantee of third-party stock. | Blathers’s Museum Collection | Animal Crossing fans who want a location-based scene | Museum exhibits and The Roost café provide the setting. | LEGO’s US product listing was marked “retiring soon” in the cited 2026 source. Check the local listing for an updated status. LEGO US product page |
Best for a character-driven scene: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (77093)
This is the strongest match if the display should tell a story rather than simply show a Nintendo object. LEGO describes a moment from Ocarina of Time: Link, Zelda and Navi face Ganon among castle ruins. The brick-built Ganon can be detached from the diorama and posed separately, giving the display some flexibility.

LEGO calls 77093 its second set based on The Legend of Zelda, following the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (77092). In its announcement, LEGO Design Manager Wes Talbot said: “You can expect a highly detailed and brick-built Ganon figure that can be displayed in the diorama or taken off and placed in a pose.” That is the designer’s description of the feature, not an independent assessment of the finished set. Read LEGO’s announcement.
Best for classic gaming nostalgia: Nintendo Entertainment System (71374)
The NES set is a different kind of display: it recreates the original console, controller and Game Pak cartridge, alongside a retro-styled TV. Its subject is instantly recognizable hardware rather than a scene populated by game characters, making it a natural fit for a gaming shelf or desk.

Availability is the main complication. LEGO’s GB product page labels 71374 “Retired product.” The label applies to that regional LEGO listing; it does not establish whether independent retailers or secondhand sellers have copies, or what they charge. Check the LEGO GB product page and verify any other seller’s stock and condition before buying.
Best for an Animal Crossing setting: Blathers’s Museum Collection
For a display centered on a place and its details, LEGO’s description of Blathers’s Museum Collection highlights museum exhibits and The Roost café. That makes it distinct from the Zelda battle scene and the NES replica: its appeal is an Animal Crossing environment rather than one dramatic encounter or a piece of hardware.

Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWhere the Great Deku Tree (77092) fits
The Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 is worth considering if your priority is adding a second Zelda subject to a collection: LEGO identifies it as the earlier Zelda set, before 77093. The available official description here does not establish a direct size, price or feature comparison with The Final Battle, so choose between them by subject and confirm the current specifications on the relevant regional product pages rather than assuming one is larger or better value.

Should Super Mario fans wait for the 2027 sets?
LEGO has announced a change in format, not a reason to treat every Super Mario set as a display model. The existing line uses interactive LEGO Mario, Luigi and Peach figures. LEGO says its app will be supported until at least December 2028, and that the existing interactive sets will continue to function.
On August 26, 2026, the LEGO Group announced a new minifigure-based Super Mario range available from January 1, 2027. The announcement describes builds involving characters, karts and environments, but includes smaller, play-oriented examples. If you specifically want a display piece, assess each announced set on its own rather than assuming the new line is aimed entirely at collectors. Read the LEGO Group’s announcement. For the existing theme and app-support statement, see LEGO’s Super Mario theme page.

How to choose for your shelf
- Choose by subject first: a Zelda story scene, classic NES hardware and an Animal Crossing location make very different displays.
- Consider presentation: 77093 is explicitly described as a diorama with a poseable character; 71374 recreates a recognizable console-and-TV setup; Blathers’s set brings together museum exhibits and a café.
- Check availability in your country: “retired” on LEGO’s GB page and “retiring soon” on its US listing are regional, time-sensitive statuses—not universal assurances about stock elsewhere.
- Check shelf space and price before deciding: the cited material does not provide comparable dimensions or current prices for these sets. Use current local product listings for those details.
- Separate display appeal from investment claims: the official descriptions support comparisons of subject and presentation, but do not establish resale performance, collector demand or future value.
