Bundledocs, Opus 2 Cases, and Thomson Reuters Case Center can all support legal bundles, but they address different scopes of work. Bundledocs centers on assembling and delivering bundles; Opus 2 Cases includes paginated collections within a broader case-preparation workspace; Case Center combines bundle management with evidence review and hearing presentation. There is no evidence here for an independent overall winner, so compare them against your jurisdiction’s rules, workflow, deployment needs, and a written total-cost quote.
How the three platforms differ
| Product | Vendor-described scope | Questions to resolve |
|---|---|---|
| Bundledocs | Focused bundle creation, ordering, indexing, pagination, sharing or printing, integrations, and cloud or on-premise options. Its pricing page advertises a trial, an entry-level Starter price, and quote-based Business pricing. | Is a focused bundling workflow enough? Is on-premise deployment needed? Which integrations, plan limits, and total costs apply? |
| Opus 2 Cases | A broader case-preparation environment that includes Collections for paginated electronic binders, hyperlinked indices, previews, and automatic updates. | Does the team need a wider case workspace as well as bundles? What implementation, user, and support requirements affect the quote? |
| Thomson Reuters Case Center | Digital case materials and indexed, paginated bundles, with permissions, search, annotation and redaction, collaboration, evidence review, and hearing-presentation tools. | Does it fit the court or agency workflow? Which regional configuration and features are available, and what are the procurement and integration requirements? |
These are vendor-described capabilities, not results from a hands-on comparison. The products’ feature pages do not establish equivalent performance, and no independent, comparable benchmark for speed, error rates, or time saved was established in the sources reviewed.

Bundledocs: bundle-focused workflow and published entry pricing
Bundledocs describes a workflow that starts with documents uploaded from folders, case systems, or document-management systems, then arranged and customized into a formatted bundle for download. Its FAQ lists support for common office files, PDFs, messages, images, audio, and video, and describes automatic formatting, pagination, and indexing. The company also describes sharing and collaboration. See Bundledocs’ document bundling solution and its FAQs.
Bundledocs describes its product as cloud-based; a separate product page describes an on-premise version for organizations requiring local storage. Confirm the available deployment, terms, and controls for your region and intended use directly with the vendor. See Bundledocs’ electronic document bundling software page.

The Bundledocs pricing page advertises a 30-day trial without a credit card, Starter “from £34/mo,” and quote-based Business pricing. These are vendor-published offer details, not a like-for-like total-cost comparison; verify current currency, plan contents, limits, and charges before deciding. The same page says cloud updates are automatic and integration connectors are included.
Opus 2 Cases: bundles inside broader case preparation
Opus 2 describes Collections as a way to create and organize paginated electronic binders, with hyperlinked indices, live contents previews, and automatic updates when bundle contents change. Its Opus 2 Cases page places Collections alongside wider case-preparation work, including structured case information and chronology capabilities.

- Scanner type: Document
- Connectivity technology: USB
- With Auto Scan Mode, the scanner automatically detects what you're scanning
- Digitize documents and images
That broader scope may matter if a team wants case materials managed beyond the final court bundle. Opus 2’s October 9, 2025 article by Director of Solution Consulting Kim Bookout discusses collections used across litigation workflows, including deposition preparation and expert witness packs. It is vendor workflow context rather than independent comparative evidence: Software for faster court bundles and workflows.
Case Center: bundle management through hearing presentation
Thomson Reuters presents Case Center as a cloud-based digital evidence-management service for courts, administrative hearing agencies, and law firms. Its pages describe searchable, indexed, paginated bundles alongside permissions, collaboration, annotations, redactions, evidence review, and tools for guiding participants during a hearing. Consult the Case Center overview and UK features page for vendor descriptions; capabilities and regional configurations may differ.

In Canadian product naming, Thomson Reuters says Case Center was formerly CaseLines. See its Canadian Case Center page. Check the name and workflow used by the relevant court or agency rather than assuming one regional description applies everywhere.
The official pages reviewed do not provide comparable public subscription pricing for Case Center. Request a quote that specifies jurisdictions, user roles, case volumes, integrations, storage, support, and implementation work so it can be compared on the same assumptions as other proposals.

How to choose without relying on feature lists alone
Start with the required court or agency output and the work your team needs the software to handle. A bundle that is easy to assemble is not necessarily compliant with a particular filing process, and a broader feature set is useful only if it fits actual workflows and procurement constraints.
- Jurisdiction and output: Identify the court, jurisdiction, and required bundle format. Validate rules and filing steps with the court or qualified local counsel.
- Document changes: Test whether the system can produce the required searchable, indexed, and paginated files, and whether links, bookmarks, page numbering, and redactions remain correct after a late change.
- Deployment and data handling: Establish where documents are stored, who can access them, and which deployment, retention, audit, and security controls are contractually available in the relevant region.
- Integrations: Name the document-management, practice-management, and case systems in use. Confirm which are supported and whether connectors are included in the quoted plan.
- Total cost: Ask how pricing scales by user, case, volume, storage, support, and implementation. Compare written proposals using the same assumptions.
- Realistic trial or demo: Use the same sample matter, files, update request, collaboration scenario, output requirements, and user roles across shortlisted products. No product was independently tested for this comparison.
What the published claims do—and do not—establish
In a March 4, 2026 announcement, Bundledocs reported supporting “over 1,600 clients in more than 35 countries.” That is a company-reported scale figure, not an independently verified market statistic. The same announcement quoted CEO Brian Kenneally describing Bundledocs Review as “a natural evolution” of the platform; this is the company’s characterization, not independent evidence of security or performance. See the Bundledocs announcement.

Feature descriptions and customer counts cannot determine which product will be more accurate, faster, or more economical for a particular legal team. Those questions require jurisdiction-specific checks, procurement review, and a consistent evaluation using the team’s own matter and requirements.
