It combines a MediaTek Dimensity 8350, 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP OIS main camera, 50MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery and 66W wired charging. The buying decision now depends heavily on the retailer’s live price and stock: launch offers were around ₹22,999–₹24,999, while Lava’s direct shop showed ₹31,999 and sold out when checked on August 16, 2026.
Lava AGNI 4 launch date and India price
Lava announced the AGNI 4 in India on November 20, 2025. The first sale was scheduled for November 25 at 12 noon, with Amazon identified as a sales channel in launch coverage. Indian Express reported a ₹24,999 launch price, while Lava’s launch video presented ₹22,999 as a special price including bank offers. Those are different price signals, not proof of one permanent India-wide price.
| Price signal | What it means |
|---|---|
| ₹24,999 | Reported launch price. |
| ₹22,999 | Special launch or effective bank-offer price described by Lava. |
| ₹27,999 | Later prices recorded by trackers such as Gadgets 360 and 91mobiles. |
| ₹31,999 | Lava’s direct-shop listing when checked on August 16, 2026; the page showed the phone as sold out. |
Check the retailer, colour, bank discount, warranty terms and stock on the day you buy. The direct Lava listing is here, but its listed price should not be treated as the universal street price or as proof of immediate availability.

#1 Best Overall
- [360-degree rotatable ring mount] – with multi-angle support, it makes watching videos and films both convenient and comfortable, offering an enviable viewing experience.
- 3D multi-directional shape change, depending on different light and angle
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The frosted surface prevents most fingerprints and the 3D design is stylish
- The ring mount features a magnetic ring, allowing you to use it in your car or for other magnetic applications
Display and design
The 6.67-inch AMOLED panel is one of the AGNI 4’s clearest strengths. Its 2712 × 1220 resolution is higher than standard Full HD+, and the 120Hz refresh rate should make scrolling and supported games appear smoother than a 60Hz panel. Lava and launch coverage cite approximately 446ppi, equilateral bezels, Corning Gorilla Glass protection and Wet Touch Control.
Lava promotes a peak brightness figure of 2,400 nits. That is a peak figure, not a promise of sustained full-screen brightness; actual outdoor visibility depends on the display mode, content, heat and ambient light. At roughly 208g, the phone may feel substantial compared with lighter mid-range models.
Dimensity 8350 performance
The AGNI 4 uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 with LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.0 storage and a 4,300mm² 3D vapour-chamber cooling system, according to Lava. Gadgets 360 lists CPU speeds of up to 3.35GHz. This combination is designed for performance-focused buyers and should provide faster app loading and multitasking than phones using slower storage or older memory standards.

Lava claims more than 1.4 million points in AnTuTu. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independently verified score; results vary with software version, temperature, performance mode and test procedure. No frame-rate, sustained-thermal or battery-drain conclusion should be drawn from that number alone.
Camera setup: two 50MP sensors, but not three
The phrase “50MP cameras” needs precision. The rear array has a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front camera is 50MP. Lava’s shop listing also describes 4K recording at 60fps for the main and selfie cameras, plus features including dual-view video, Dynamic Contrast Gain and scene and skin-tone optimisation.
- 50MP OIS main: the primary camera for everyday photos and stabilised video.
- 8MP ultrawide: useful for wider scenes, but lower-resolution than the main and selfie sensors.
- 50MP selfie: unusually high resolution on paper for this segment, with image quality still dependent on processing and lighting.
Megapixel counts do not establish camera quality. Before buying, look for independent samples covering daylight detail, HDR, skin tones, night noise, ultrawide distortion, stabilisation and consistency between rear and front-camera video.

Battery and 66W charging
The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 66W wired charging. Lava claims a 50 percent charge in less than 19 minutes and a full charge in approximately 51 minutes under its own test conditions. An independent 91mobiles listing reports roughly 20–100 percent charging in about 40 minutes; that is not directly comparable with Lava’s 0–100 percent claim.
Charging time changes with the supplied charger and cable, battery temperature, screen use, software limits and the battery’s charge level. A 66W rating therefore does not mean the phone draws 66W throughout the entire cycle.
Software and update commitment
The AGNI 4 launched with Android 15. Lava promises three Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates, as stated on its shop page. The phone also includes Lava’s Vayu AI features, including AI assistants, text-to-image tools, object elimination, cutout tools and Circle to Search.

That is not the same as untouched “stock Android”: Lava’s AI and utility features sit alongside the core Android interface. Check the phone’s installed Android version, latest security-patch date and the availability of promised updates before purchase, because the launch software is no longer necessarily the current version.

Lava lists 5G bands n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77 and n78, along with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB 3.2 over USB Type-C. Band support does not guarantee identical 5G performance on every Indian carrier or in every location.
Other useful additions include stereo speakers, an IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint reader and a programmable action button. IP64 means protection from dust ingress and water splashes; it is not protection against submersion and should not be described as waterproof.

There is no microSD card slot and no 3.5mm headphone jack. Storage is therefore fixed at 256GB, and wired headphones require USB-C headphones or an adapter.
Reasons to consider the AGNI 4
- Dimensity 8350 performance platform paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
- Sharp 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display.
- Optically stabilised 50MP primary camera.
- 5,000mAh battery with fast 66W charging.
- Useful extras such as an IR blaster, action button, stereo speakers and USB 3.2.
- A stated three-year OS and four-year security-update policy.
Reasons to hesitate
- Pricing and stock vary substantially from the original launch offer; Lava’s direct listing was sold out when checked.
- The ultrawide camera is only 8MP, and megapixel counts do not predict processing quality.
- There is no microSD expansion or headphone jack.
- The 208g weight may be high for buyers who prefer compact, lighter phones.
- IP64 covers dust and splashes, not immersion.
- Lava’s benchmark and charging figures need to be read as stated test claims rather than universal real-world results.
Should you buy the Lava AGNI 4?
At ₹22,999–₹24,999
If you can obtain a genuine in-stock unit in this range, the AGNI 4 is potentially compelling for buyers prioritising performance, display quality, storage and charging speed. Confirm the final bank-offer price and included accessories before paying.
Around ₹27,999
Compare it carefully with other performance-focused phones at the actual street price. Give extra weight to independent camera, thermal and battery testing, because the AGNI 4’s headline specifications alone do not establish a better overall experience.
At ₹31,999
Be cautious. This was the price shown on Lava’s direct shop when checked, and the product was marked sold out. At that level, buy only after confirming live stock, warranty support and what additional value the seller provides; do not assume the original ₹22,999 launch positioning still applies.
