Before chasing the Platinum in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, check which compilation and trophy list you are playing: the PS3 and PS4 requirements differ in important ways. The run can involve difficulty clears, a no-equipment-change or no-continue finish, a 15-hour story clear, optional bosses, level 100, Journal completion, synthesis, and Gummi Ship challenges. Planning around your exact platform is more reliable than following a route written for another version.
First, identify your version and trophy list
This guide concerns the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix trophy list included in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX. The list is associated with both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, but not every requirement is identical. Before starting, open the trophy list for your own edition and use its wording as the final authority.

| Difficulty clears | Thundaka’s PS3 guide says Beginner, Final Mix, and Proud difficulty trophies do not stack, requiring separate clears for that list. | A TrueTrophies walkthrough search result phrases the requirement as clearing on “Final Mix: Beginner or a higher difficulty level.” The underlying page was unavailable, so confirm the exact list in your console. |
| Gummi Ship blueprints | The PS3 guide calls Gummi Ship Collector the all-blueprints trophy. | The trophy list source names a threshold of 30 or more blueprints. |
| Missables | Use the PS3 guide only for the PS3 list and route. | The TrueTrophies search result reports three missable trophies; verify which ones in the target list before planning around that count. |

How many playthroughs should you plan?
PS3: plan for separate difficulty clears
Thundaka’s GameFAQs guide, version 2.10 updated July 17, 2015, says the Beginner, Final Mix, and Proud clears do not stack on the PS3 list. If your list matches that description, plan for three clears rather than expecting one high-difficulty finish to award every difficulty trophy.

- KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 FINAL CHAPTER PROLOGUE KINGDOM HEARTS Dream Drop Distance HD KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2 Birth by Sleep –A fragmentary passage– KINGDOM HEARTS χ Back Cover (movie)
- KINGDOM HEARTS III
PS4: confirm the selected list before committing
The available PS4 wording says to clear the game on Final Mix: Beginner or higher, which does not support carrying the PS3 three-clear plan over unchanged. Check the difficulty trophies displayed for your own PS4 compilation and plan to satisfy those exact conditions; the available listing is not detailed enough to guarantee how every trophy interacts.
Choose whether to combine the constrained clears
The list includes separate conditions to finish without changing equipment and without using a continue. It also includes Speedster, which requires defeating the World of Chaos within 15 hours. Decide before starting whether you want to combine any of these constraints with a difficulty clear, or reserve a focused run for them. A time-limited clear is a poor fit for thorough exploration and Journal cleanup, so treat it as a distinct objective if you want to explore at a relaxed pace.

Track Journal and exploration work as worlds open
Full Journal completion is not simply a matter of finishing the story. The listed categories include story entries, Ansem Reports, character entries, 101 Dalmatians, Trinity entries, and mini-games. Some routes and collectibles become accessible only after acquiring movement or Trinity abilities, so revisit earlier worlds when your new abilities open paths you could not reach before.
Rank #3
- The HD remastered compilation brings six beloved KINGDOM HEARTS adventures to the PlayStation 4
- KINGDOM HEARTS HD 15 + 25 ReMIX gives fans the opportunity to experience all of their favourite moments from the series so far for the very first time on one platform
- The full list of titles included in KINGDOM HEARTS HD 15 + 25 ReMIX are KINGDOM HEARTS HD 15 ReMIX including KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX, KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories, KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (HD remastered cinematics)
- KINGDOM HEARTS HD 25 ReMIX including KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX, KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX, KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded
- KINGDOM HEARTS is a series of role-playing games created through the collaboration of Disney Interactive and Square Enix
- Check Journal categories while progressing instead of waiting until the end to discover gaps.
- Keep a running list of Dalmatians and Trinity marks, then revisit worlds as needed.
- Expect some puppy chests and Trinity marks to require later abilities; this is a general route-planning warning from the PS3 guide, not a guarantee that every port shares every location detail.
Reserve cleanup time for synthesis, bosses, and level 100
Synthesis and rare enemies
The trophy list requires synthesizing every item. The PS3 guide describes rare enemies as sources of unique synthesis materials, so track required items and materials as you work rather than assuming story progress alone will complete synthesis. The available sources do not establish a universal drop rate.
Optional bosses and level 100
Optional bosses and reaching Sora level 100 are also part of the completionist workload. The trophy description transcribed by Kingdom Hearts Realm states, “Get Sora to Level 100.” Thundaka estimated the PS3 level-100 task at “50-60 hour range” in the 2015 guide; that is the guide author’s personal estimate, not an official or universal completion-time statistic.
Rank #4
- Includes Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Remix & Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
- Catch up on the story leading up to Kingdom Hearts III
- Relive the magical adventures of Sora, Donald Duck, Goofy and friends
Do not leave Gummi Ship trophies until you know your list
Gummi Ship missions and blueprint collection can be handled largely apart from the main story, according to the PS3 guide, making them reasonable cleanup work. But the blueprint condition differs across the evidence: the PS3 guide describes an all-blueprints trophy, while the PS4 list source says 30 or more blueprints. Check your in-game trophy wording before deciding how much Gummi Ship work remains. Repeated mission attempts are identified as a burden in the PS3 guide; its specific all-blueprints requirement should not be applied automatically to PS4.

A practical route for a completionist
- Confirm the compilation and trophy list. Identify PS3 or PS4 and compare your list’s difficulty and Gummi Ship wording with the correct platform details above.
- Choose your constrained run strategy. Decide whether to pursue no equipment changes, no continues, and the 15-hour clear together or in separate runs.
- Explore and track Journal categories. Log story, Reports, characters, Dalmatians, Trinity marks, and mini-games as you play, returning to old worlds when new abilities unlock routes.
- Finish story and difficulty requirements. Follow the number of clears your platform’s actual list requires; do not use the PS3 plan as a substitute for checking PS4 wording.
- Complete cleanup objectives. Work through optional bosses, level 100, synthesis materials, remaining chests, Munny, Heartless defeats, and the Gummi Ship requirements shown on your list.
The wider list also calls for opening 100 chests, earning over 10,000 Munny, and defeating over 2,000 Heartless. These totals are straightforward to monitor against the displayed trophies, but include them in your checklist so they do not become forgotten end-stage tasks.
