Switch off and unplug the unit before disassembly or cleaning. The booklet also says to keep the processor away from heat and allow at least 20 cm from walls, curtains and other materials sensitive to heat or steam for air circulation. These directions belong to the booklet; check the instructions supplied with your own unit, particularly if buying second-hand.
