Just A DVD Incremental turns the familiar wait for a bouncing DVD logo to hit a screen corner into a single-player incremental game: watch it bounce, earn progress, buy upgrades, and try to reach the corner. A free demo is listed on Steam; the full game is planned for December 7, 2026.
How the game turns the DVD-logo wait into a loop
The premise is the near-miss-or-perfect-hit ritual many people remember from DVD players: a logo ricochets around the screen, and you wait to see whether it lands exactly in a corner. In Just A DVD Incremental, that spectacle is the core of a progression loop. Steam describes upgrades to the logo’s speed, efficiency, and special effects; Dexerto reports that bounces earn rewards that can be used to improve the logo and its efficiency.
That makes it an incremental game rather than just a screensaver recreation. The corner hit remains the central goal, while upgrades give the player something to pursue between bounces. Neither listing establishes that corner hits are guaranteed or specifies exactly how the upgrade economy works.
What is available now, and what is planned
The Steam demo is listed as released on September 23, 2026. Its page presents it as a hands-on introduction to the core experience and early upgrades. The demo is the way to try the game before deciding whether its deliberately simple premise appeals to you.

System requirements: read the recommended spec cautiously
Steam’s minimum requirements for the full game are Windows 10, a “Pretty Old” processor, built-in graphics, and 1 GB of available storage. The listing’s recommended configuration is a Ryzen 7 7700X, AMD 7900 XTX, and 4 GB of storage, but the developer adds an important qualification: “This is just the best spec I tested on. I’m sure it does not remotely need this much power to function optimally.” That makes the recommended hardware a tested configuration, not evidence that those components are necessary.
The storefront does not provide a more precise minimum CPU or graphics model, nor does it establish measured performance across different PCs. Treat the unusual recommended spec as a caveated listing rather than a reliable guide to what the game needs to run well.

Who is making it?
Steam credits kealsoft-labs as developer and kealsoft as publisher. Dexerto’s October 1, 2026 coverage likewise describes the project as a game built around the bouncing DVD logo and its upgrade loop.
