FeliCaの脆弱性でSuicaに影響はある？
JVN（Japan Vulnerability Notes）が2026年7月21日に公開した脆弱性情報 JVN#40509781は、ソニーが出荷した2017年以前の特定のFeliCa ICチップについて説明しています。JVNは、暗号処理中の特定の操作によって、本来想定されたセキュリティ強度が損なわれる可能性があるとしています。

JVNによると、脆弱性を悪用された場合、影響を受けるチップ上の情報を読み取られたり、改ざんされたりする可能性があります。攻撃経路は物理的なものとされています。ただし、公開情報はすべてのFeliCaチップやSuicaが影響を受けるとは述べていません。

2025年のJR東日本の説明は、Suicaのシステム全体で対策を行っているというサービス側の見解でした。同社は当時、「SuicaはFeliCa ICチップのセキュリティに加え、Suicaシステム全体で様々なセキュリティ対策を実施しておりますので、お客さまが所有されているSuicaにつきましては、引き続き安心してご利用いただければと存じます」と述べています。これは2025年8月28日の同社発表における説明です。

JVNの公開情報には、影響を受けるSuicaの製品名、発行時期別のロット一覧、利用者向けの照合ツールは記載されていません。そのため、カードの見た目や発行時期だけから、個別のSuicaが影響を受ける、または受けないと判断することはできません。

したがって、対象を確認できるとする市販の読み取り機器や、遮蔽用品をこの脆弱性への対策として勧める根拠は、JR東日本やJVNの案内にはありません。利用者はカードの管理に注意し、サービス提供者は自らのサービスへの影響を評価する、というのが公表されている対応です。
