The model was sold through Logitech’s official store and retailers at launch, offering active noise cancellation (ANC), a microphone-based ambient mode called SurroundSense, IP68-rated earbuds and a secure fit aimed at runners and other athletes. This is historical launch information, not a new Brazilian product announcement for 2026.
Brazilian launch, price and availability
The Brazilian launch followed Jaybird’s international announcement on June 8, 2021. Canaltech reported Brazilian availability on November 16, 2021, at a suggested retail price of R$1,999 through the official Logitech store and retail outlets. Canaltech’s launch report is the source for the Brazilian date, price and specifications.
That amount was the launch MSRP, not a guaranteed transaction price. A later promotion reported in July 2022 offered the earbuds for R$999, but that deal was expired and should not be treated as the official launch price. Current Brazilian stock, warranty coverage, replacement parts and resale prices were not established by the launch reports, so buyers in 2026 should verify those details with any seller.
What the Vista 2 was designed to do
The Vista 2 was the successor to the original Jaybird Vista and was positioned as a premium, fully wireless in-ear model for exercise and outdoor use. Its design combines silicone ear tips with stabilizing wings intended to keep each earbud in place while running, training or moving through a gym session.
#1 Best Overall
- IMPORTANT* Please be sure to dry your earbuds before placing them back in the case to charge and make sure the case is completely dry as well. Although these earbuds are IP68 waterproof, the charging case is not waterproof.
- Waterproof and dustproof: The JBL Endurance Race 2 is made for your toughest workout. Their IP68 rating means they're fully dustproof and waterproof, with complete protection against solid particles and the ability to survive being submerged deeper than a meter in both fresh water and sea water. Even the charging case is IPX2 water-resistant, so it can come along on your next rainy-day run. (*NOTE: It is important to dry off your buds before putting them back into the charging case)
- Ergonomic wing enhancer with Twistlock technology: The ergonomic wing enhancer on the JBL Endurance Race 2 earbuds uses Twistlock technology. That means a better seal and with more stability in your ears when you're using them, not to mention all-day comfort.
- 48Hrs of playback time, plus speed charging: Enjoy 12Hrs of playtime, plus another three full charges (36Hrs) in the charging case.* 10 minutes on the included** USB type-C charging cable will give you another four hours of playtime. (*with ANC off) (**Highly recommend to only use the included, high-quality JBL cable)
- Active Noise Cancelling with Smart Ambient: JBL Endurance Race 2 earbuds use Active Noise Cancelling to listen to your surroundings and filter out distracting noise. Smart Ambient lets you control how much of the outside world you want to hear, so you can talk with others or stay aware of your surroundings—all without taking your earbuds out.
ANC and SurroundSense
ANC uses the earbuds’ microphones and processing to reduce outside sound, allowing the listener to focus on music or podcasts. SurroundSense does the opposite: it feeds surrounding sound through the microphones so users can remain more aware of traffic, people and other environmental cues. Jaybird presented the latter as an awareness feature for athletes, not as another form of noise cancellation. The two modes therefore serve different situations.
Sport durability
The earbuds were rated IP68, while Brazilian coverage identified the charging case separately as IP54. Calling the entire package “IP68” would overstate the protection. Water resistance also does not mean the earbuds are suitable for swimming, pressurized water or every liquid exposure; use should follow the user manual.
Jaybird also cited MIL-STD-810G durability. That is a manufacturer durability claim, and it should not be read as proof that every component survived every military test method or condition.
Rank #2
- Flexible Fit: Sport X20 workout earbuds come equipped with adjustable ear hooks that can be extended and rotated for a comfortable and secure fit. Up to 30 degrees rotation and 4mm extension, customize the position to fit you perfectly.
- Get More Focus: Sport X20 workout earbuds deliver powerful noise cancelling, turning loud gyms into peaceful areas. Block out distracting sounds—from clanging weights to loud grunts. Manual adjustment and adaptive ANC keep you focused on your fitness goals.
- Pump Up Your Bass: Experience the pulse-pounding thrill of soundcore's BassUp technology, fueled by powerful 11mm dynamic drivers. Elevate your audio adventure to take your motivation to a new level.
- Everything-Proof Design: The sport earbuds' unique cavity design and soundcore exclusive SweatGuard technology create a submarine-inspired seal that protects the internal components against damage from water, sweat, and dust. Move without fear.
- soundcore App Support: Download the soundcore app for software updates and access to available features. Personalize your listening with HearID, EQ modes and Spatial Audio settings. OTA firmware updates help keep your earbuds updated.
Jaybird app
The Jaybird app for iOS and Android was described as providing battery information, equalizer and sound-profile customization, ambient-sound control and Find My Buds. Compatibility and feature behavior can vary with phone, firmware and app version, so a 2021 feature description is not a guarantee of current support.

Battery and technical specifications
The “up to 24 hours” headline includes recharges from the case; it is not 24 hours of continuous playback from the earbuds themselves.
| Specification | Vista 2 detail |
|---|---|
| Earbud driver | 6 mm |
| Frequency response | 20 Hz–20 kHz |
| Bluetooth | Bluetooth 5.0 |
| Codecs | SBC and AAC |
| Earbud weight | 6.7 g each (Brazilian listing) |
| Charging-case weight | 42.8 g |
| Battery with ANC | Up to 6 hours in the earbuds, plus up to 12 additional hours from the case |
| Battery without ANC | Up to 8 hours in the earbuds, plus up to 16 additional hours from the case |
| Combined maximum | Up to 24 hours |
| Protection | IP68 earbuds; the case was reported separately as IP54 |
| Additional durability claim | MIL-STD-810G, as cited by the manufacturer |

These are manufacturer-derived or launch-report maximums. ANC, SurroundSense, volume, codec, calls, temperature, fit and battery age can all reduce actual runtime. The case figures describe its recharge capacity, not playback from the earbuds without interruption.

What independent reviews found
Tecnoblog’s Brazilian review, which placed the launch price at approximately R$2,000, considered the secure fit and improved durability strong reasons for athletes to consider the Vista 2. It also noted the usefulness of ANC, ambient mode and sound customization. Its main reservation was value: the earbuds were expensive for their overall audio and feature package, and the ANC was characterized as moderate rather than class-leading. See the Tecnoblog review for those hands-on judgments.
Those are reviewer impressions, not universal measurements. The practical distinction is important: the Vista 2’s strongest case was its sport-oriented fit and rugged positioning, not an across-the-board lead in sound quality, call performance or noise cancellation.
Who the Vista 2 suited best
- Runners, gym users and other athletes who need stabilizing wings and a secure in-ear fit.
- Buyers who value ruggedness and sweat or water resistance for normal exercise use.
- Listeners who want both an isolating ANC mode and an environmental-awareness mode.
- Existing Jaybird users who appreciate app-based EQ customization.
- People willing to pay a premium for sport-specific design rather than the strongest general-purpose audio specification.
Who should be cautious
- Shoppers seeking the best ANC, microphone performance or sound quality at the price.
- Anyone expecting newer Bluetooth generations, multipoint, wireless charging or broad modern ecosystem integration; those features should not be assumed from the Vista 2’s 2021 specification.
- Buyers who need confirmed official stock, warranty service, replacement accessories or long-term firmware support in 2026.
- Marketplace buyers who cannot verify seller identity, original accessories, battery condition, warranty and return rights.
Verdict
At launch, the Jaybird Vista 2 was a credible premium sports earbud for users who prioritized a stable fit, durability, ANC and an awareness mode. Its R$1,999 Brazilian MSRP made that specialization expensive, and independent testing did not position its ANC or overall audio as category-leading. In 2026, treat it as an older model: consider it only when the unit’s condition, seller, warranty and price make sense, rather than assuming that the 2021 launch specifications represent current support or availability.
