Is the Marshall Bromley 750 Worth Buying? A Practical Review

The Marshall Bromley 750 pairs party-scale sound with microphone and instrument inputs, but its 23.9 kg weight and premium price make it a specialized choice.

The Marshall Bromley 750 makes most sense for people who need a loud, rollable party speaker and want wired microphone or instrument inputs—not for buyers seeking a compact speaker for everyday listening. It weighs 23.9 kg, so its wheels and handle help with moving it but do not make it easy to lift or store. Marshall claims more than 40 hours of playtime; its large-room volume and extensive connections are useful, but its premium local price and substantial footprint are real trade-offs.

What kind of speaker is the Bromley 750?

Marshall describes the Bromley 750 as a portable party speaker with “True Stereophonic 360° sound.” That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent listening result. Released in 2025, it is designed around loud-room playback, battery operation and connections for more than a phone. Marshall’s product listing gives dimensions of 652 × 413 × 355 mm and a weight of 23.9 kg. Integrated wheels and a handle make it rollable; carrying it up stairs, putting it in a car, or finding storage still takes planning. Marshall’s support page identifies the model as released in 2025.

How loud is the Marshall Bromley 750?

RTINGS describes the Bromley 750 as a large battery-powered party speaker and reports that its tested unit gets loud enough to fill large rooms. That is a useful independent review finding, not a guarantee for every room, placement or event. Room shape, crowd noise and where the speaker is positioned all affect perceived coverage.

Marshall’s own published maximum sound-pressure figures do not agree: its product specification gives 127 dB at 1 m, while its support FAQ says “up to 128 dB.” Neither figure is an independent measurement in the cited materials, so there is no sound basis here for presenting one as a verified maximum. Marshall Bromley 750 Portable Party Speaker - Black and Brass
  • TRUE STEREOPHONIC: Crystal-clear 360° sound.
  • 40+ HOURS OF PORTABLE PLAYTIME: Keep playing all day and through to the next night.
  • SOUND CHARACTER CONTROL: Match the music to the pace of your party. Go from pre-party mingling to the peak and then straight to the after-party with a few simple adjustments.
  • INTEGRATED STAGE LIGHTS: Pick from three stage-inspired presets.
  • MIC & INSTRUMENT INPUTS: Bromley 750 has been designed with all the inputs you need to connect mics, instruments, and turntables for the ultimate party.

What can you connect to it?

The Bromley 750 is not limited to Bluetooth playback. Marshall lists these connections and wireless features:

  • Bluetooth 5.3, Auracast, multipoint connectivity, and SBC, AAC and LC3 codecs.
  • 3.5 mm AUX input and output, RCA, and USB-C.
  • Two XLR/6.35 mm combo jacks for microphones or instruments.

The combo inputs make karaoke, announcements, or a wired instrument setup plausible uses. Check your microphone, instrument and source-device output requirements before buying cables or other accessories; the connections alone do not establish that every setup is compatible. Marshall’s listed box contents include the speaker with battery installed, mains lead, quick start guide and legal/safety sheet—not a microphone. Marshall’s product listing.

How long does the battery last, and how does it charge?

Marshall claims 40+ hours of portable playtime, 5 hours of play from a 20-minute charge, and 3.5 hours for a full recharge. These are manufacturer figures, not independent runtime results. Actual playtime depends on use; Marshall notes that the integrated lights consume significant battery power and that turning them off can extend playback. Can you use it outdoors?

Marshall lists IP54 resistance and describes the speaker as dirt- and splash-resistant. That is protection against limited dust ingress and splashes, not permission to submerge it or leave it exposed to heavy weather. Treat outdoor use accordingly. Marshall’s product listing.

What are the main buying trade-offs?

What may suit you What to weigh
Large-room party playback; RTINGS reports its tested unit can get loud enough to fill large rooms. Room-filling output is not the same as easy portability: the speaker weighs 23.9 kg and needs space for storage and transport.
Two XLR/6.35 mm combo inputs for microphone or instrument use, plus AUX, RCA and USB-C. Buyers who only stream music from a phone may not need the extra wired inputs; required cables or a microphone are not listed in the box contents.
Marshall claims 40+ hours of playback and offers integrated wheels and a handle. Runtime is usage-dependent, and Marshall says lighting reduces it; the wheels help rolling rather than lifting.
Manufacturer-listed IP54 dirt and splash resistance. It is not an immersion rating or a claim that the speaker is waterproof.

TechRadar’s review and buying-guide coverage also characterizes the speaker as large and expensive, while noting its physical controls and connectivity; those are editorial judgments rather than test findings made here. TechRadar’s review.

What does it cost, and can it be repaired?

Marshall’s US product listing showed a starting price of $1,299.99 when accessed in 2026. Price and availability vary by region and over time, so use the listing for your market to check the current price before deciding. Marshall’s US product listing.
