- Export: the specifications describe S3 or FTP export options.

- Exercise failure handling. Make your caller detect and handle returned errors, missing or delayed images, and usage limits. Screenshotlayer’s terms say inaccessibility can occur and customers must handle returned errors.
- Validate the whole workflow. Test how your scheduler, baseline comparison, alert delivery, retries, and logging behave. The reviewed documentation does not establish these as built-in Screenshotlayer features.
What the terms say about outages
Screenshotlayer’s terms acknowledge that the service can be inaccessible and place responsibility for detecting and handling returned errors on customers. The terms define an outage narrowly as service unavailability to all customers for more than three consecutive hours in a calendar day. After more than three such outages in one week, they describe a time-limited termination right and a refund of the latest term once accepted.
