What are P.T. and Silent Hills?
P.T. was a free playable teaser released to reveal Silent Hills, the planned full game associated with Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro. The two names are related, but they are not interchangeable: P.T. was the teaser, while Silent Hills was the game it previewed. Contemporary reporting said Silent Hills was canceled and P.T. was removed from the PlayStation Network Store. Why are people talking about a Silent Hill comeback?
Konami has announced other projects in the franchise. Their existence points to activity around Silent Hill as a series, not a revival of P.T. or Silent Hills.

Silent Hill 2 remake
Konami announced a remake of Silent Hill 2 for PlayStation 5 and Steam. It is a separate Konami game, not Kojima’s planned Silent Hills project. Konami’s Silent Hill 2 announcement

Silent Hill: Townfall
Konami has also announced Silent Hill: Townfall, another forthcoming entry in the franchise. Its release outlook can change, so check Konami’s current announcement for the latest status. It is not a return of P.T. or Silent Hills. Konami’s Silent Hill: Townfall announcement
Do Kojima’s newer projects bring P.T. back?
No. The Kojima Productions and Xbox project announcements reviewed describe separate projects and a partnership; they do not announce the return of P.T. or Silent Hills. Their discussion of Kojima’s other work is not evidence of a revival. This does not rule out every possibility of a future announcement, but none is confirmed in those sources.
