The PS VR2 release is a separate version. In an August 2026 PlayStation Blog post, developer CM Immersive said it launched on September 24, 2026 as a single-player campaign, with two-player co-op planned for Q4 2026. That was a schedule announced by the developer, not confirmation that co-op is available now. The PlayStation announcement also describes that version’s campaign and hardware features.

Developer game director Aleksei Shulga described the intended pace in the August 2026 PlayStation Blog post: “If you’ve stepped into the Pechorsk Anomaly before, you know that survival here isn’t about rushing in guns blazing.
