No confirmed announcement says a Killzone remake will launch with PlayStation 6 or use Decima. What has been reported about a new Killzone
Gadgets 360 and Video Games Chronicle reported on September 7, 2026, that MP1st had described a possible Killzone remake or remaster in very early development. Sony has not announced a new Killzone game, according to Gadgets 360’s report. The reports do not establish that the project is a finished Sony plan.

Neither outlet identifies which installment might be involved. VGC says the suggestion that it could be a remake of the original 2004 game is speculation, not a confirmed detail. The reporting also leaves open whether the project would be a remake or a remaster.

The cited reports do not confirm PlayStation 6 as a platform, say that the game will launch alongside the console, or provide a release date. The phrase “PS6 launch title” goes beyond what has been reported. Any connection between the possible Killzone project and a future PlayStation launch remains unverified.

Would the game use Decima?
Guerrilla’s official Decima page lists Killzone among the titles powered by the engine. That supports the general connection between the franchise and Decima, but it does not say that the reported project exists, or that it would use a current version of the engine. No reviewed official announcement confirms an engine or version for this possible game.
What is confirmed about the franchise’s latest release?
The September 2026 Gadgets 360 report identifies Killzone: Shadow Fall as the latest released entry and a 2013 PS4 launch title. That is existing franchise context—not evidence of a remake, a PS6 release or an upcoming product. Players looking for an existing game can search for “Killzone Shadow Fall PS4 game”; it is not a preorder for the reported project.
