For drying as well as styling
Start with whether the tool can serve as a dryer as well as a styler, then check which attachments come in the exact package being sold. “Multi-styler” does not guarantee that every useful attachment is included.
For curls and easier wrapping

For smoothing or diffusing
Match the attachments to your routine. The Beauty Works Aeris has six attachments in Woman & Home’s comparison, but that guide says it has no diffuser and no separately available diffuser option. If diffusing is essential, verify that the exact set you are buying includes a suitable diffuser.

For hair length, texture and day-to-day handling
The cited comparisons list features but do not establish one universal fit across hair lengths, textures or styling preferences. Before buying, check the barrel and brush options, the weight and grip if those are documented by the seller, and the retailer’s return policy. These details can matter more to your routine than the headline number of attachments.

What to check before buying a sale listing
- Identify the exact model. Confirm the brand, full model name and package contents on the retailer’s product page; a headline alone is not enough to identify the tool.
- Verify the live price. Check the item price and any conditions directly on the listing. A past deal price does not confirm a present offer.
- Compare included attachments. Look for the curling, smoothing, drying or diffuser tools you need, rather than relying on a count such as “five-in-one.”

Air-powered styling is not a no-heat guarantee
Good Housekeeping reports that Dyson launched the original Airwrap in 2018.
