Finish its campaign on any difficulty to unlock New Game+, which lets you replay from the beginning or a completed checkpoint. The October 1, 2026 free Extended Operations update also added 00 difficulty, TacSim activities and Photo Mode.
What can you replay after finishing the campaign?
The main story’s replay route is New Game+. Other options serve different purposes: PlayStation advertises favorite-mission replay with modifiers, while TacSim offers separate challenge missions. Photo Mode is for capturing scenes, not playing another mission.

How New Game+ works
According to IO Interactive’s October 1, 2026 Extended Operations announcement, completing the full campaign on any difficulty unlocks New Game+. You can start over or choose a checkpoint you have completed, with your unlocked outfits and gadgets available for the replay.
The Update 1.3.0 patch notes explain two customization features. Mission Wardrobe lets you change outfits from the journal during an NG+ run, and restart at a chosen checkpoint to see the selected outfit. Gadget on Demand lets you swap gadgets during a mission, but only among gadgets already introduced and unlocked by that point in the story; it does not make every gadget available from the start.

What does 00 difficulty change?
Campaign completion also unlocks 00, a harder difficulty. IO Interactive says enemies react faster to bodies and disturbances, some guard archetypes are replaced by tougher variants, and gadgets are restricted when a guard has them in their line of sight. Combat is less forgiving: enemies can kill Bond in two hits, and parry and sidestep timing is tighter.
You can combine the challenge with New Game+ customization: replay on Easy, Normal, Hard or 00 while using unlocked outfits and gadgets, subject to the story-based gadget availability described above.

Mission replay and TacSim are separate from the story
Favorite missions with modifiers
The PlayStation product page advertises replaying favorite missions with additional modifiers. It does not enumerate the modifiers or explain whether every mission can be replayed with every modifier, so treat this as a separate advertised replay option rather than assuming a specific set of challenges.

The free Extended Operations update, released October 1, 2026, adds four Valhalla Protocol missions in the Slovakian Mountains, including day and night driving challenges, plus a new TacSim mission at The Pearl, a luxury resort in Vietnam. IO Interactive says the full main-campaign weapon arsenal is available in TacSim missions. These activities are not another playthrough of the campaign.

What Photo Mode adds
Extended Operations also adds Photo Mode. Its controls include hiding the UI, posing characters, moving and adjusting the camera and lens, changing brightness and post-processing filters, and adding backgrounds and logos. It is an image-capture feature, not another story, mission or co-op mode.

IOI support says the full main campaign can be played offline after the one-time internet connection needed to download the Day 1 patch. It recommends playing online for features such as leaderboards and challenges. The support answer does not specify the connection requirements for each post-completion feature, so it does not establish that every replay option works offline.
