IREC 2026 was held at Hyderabad’s HITEX Exhibition Centre from 25 to 27 September 2026. The seventh edition of the International Real Estate Conference—and its first in India—combined a property expo, a global conference and a technology showcase. Post-event coverage reported more than 2,000 delegates from over 35 countries; that figure was reported by Punjab Narrative and was not independently audited in the sources reviewed.
What was IREC 2026?
IREC is an international real-estate conference platform. The 2026 edition was its seventh and the first hosted in India. NAR-India says the conference began in Manila in 2015. NAR-India was awarded the event, while the Hyderabad Realtors Association (HRA) operationally hosted it in Hyderabad. IREC’s official event site gives the event dates and programme; its history page describes the edition and its earlier host-city context.

What organisers said the conference aimed to do
Punjab Narrative quoted Sumanth Reddy Arani, NAR-India chairman, describing the event as a way to build international connections and position Indian real estate within global markets. That is an attributed statement of purpose, rather than evidence that the event produced specific investment or partnership outcomes. Press Network of India also attributed to IREC 2026 chair Shailender Singh the statement that the platform was intended to connect India with developments in global real estate.
