Gadgets 360’s page, updated October 6, 2026, reported a starting market price and also marked the phone unavailable.

What the display, cameras, and battery figures mean
Curved AMOLED display
The screen combines a 2392 × 1080 resolution with a stated 120 Hz refresh rate. iQOO lists 1800 nits as local peak brightness; that figure describes a peak rather than a general brightness level for the entire display. When comparing phones, check resolution, refresh rate, brightness claims, and curved-versus-flat design together.
Rear and front cameras
The 50 MP Sony IMX882 camera is the primary rear camera and includes OIS. The secondary rear camera is a 2 MP bokeh unit, not an ultrawide camera. The front camera is 16 MP. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality, and the listed specifications do not provide a basis for predicting results across different scenes.

Battery capacity and charging
The battery is rated at 5,500 mAh typical capacity, with a stated minimum of 5,390 mAh. The phone supports 44 W charging. Those specifications describe capacity and charging rate, not a guaranteed runtime or a full-charge time under every condition.
Software support and protection
The Z9s launched with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. At launch, iQOO announced two years of Android updates and three years of security updates. Those are the launch commitments; the current installed Android version and rollout status are not established here.

IP64 is a dust- and water-resistance rating, not a claim that the phone is waterproof. The official in-box list includes a phone case and protective film already applied to the display.
How to compare an iQOO Z9s with another phone
- Price: Compare the same RAM and storage configuration on the same date, and separate official MRP from a seller’s reported selling price.
- Display: Check size, resolution, refresh rate, brightness, and curved or flat construction rather than relying on one headline figure.
- Performance and memory: Compare chipset and configuration together; a RAM number alone does not describe the whole setup.
- Cameras: Distinguish the OIS-equipped main camera from the bokeh camera, and confirm whether a competing phone has an ultrawide lens.
- Battery: Consider capacity and charging rate together, while treating real-world endurance as a separate question.
- Software and protection: Separate launch update promises from current rollout status, and compare protection ratings without converting IP64 into a waterproof claim.
These details apply to the standard iQOO Z9s 5G, not the Z9s Pro, which has a different chipset and camera arrangement.

91mobiles reports a 16.2-hour PCMark battery result and, in its gaming test, 5% battery drain and 10.2% heating after 30 minutes. These are that outlet’s observations under its test methodology, not universal outcomes or independent tests performed for this article.
