No—not with a documented iPhone setting. Apple’s current guidance doesn’t provide a color picker for the battery icon in the status bar. The icon turns yellow when Low Power Mode is on; that color signals a power setting, rather than a theme choice. (Apple Support: Low Power Mode; iPhone status icons)
Why is my iPhone battery icon yellow?
Yellow means Low Power Mode is active. Apple describes the status-bar icon as an indicator of that mode, not as a color users can choose. Low Power Mode reduces power use by limiting selected features, and Apple says it turns off when the iPhone’s charge reaches 80% or higher. (Apple Support: Low Power Mode; iPhone Power Modes)

How do I turn off the yellow battery icon?
Turn off Low Power Mode. The Settings path depends on the iPhone generation:

- iPhone 15 and later: Open Settings > Battery > Power Mode, then turn off Low Power Mode.
- iPhone 14 and earlier: Open Settings > Battery, then turn off Low Power Mode.
Apple also documents turning the mode on or off through Control Center or by asking Siri. The exact Settings labels can change with iOS updates. (Apple Support: Low Power Mode)

Can Home Screen tinting change the battery icon?
No. Home Screen tinting changes the appearance of app icons and widgets; Apple’s customization instructions do not describe tinting the battery indicator in the status bar. These are separate controls with different purposes. (Apple’s Home Screen customization guide)
How can I make the charge level easier to read?
If you want a number rather than a different icon color, open Settings > Battery and turn on Battery Percentage. Face ID models can also show the percentage in Control Center. Apple’s Batteries widget can display battery information on the Home Screen or Lock Screen. (Apple’s battery percentage guide)
