By the manufacturers’ stated body measurements, the iPhone Air is thinner: Apple lists it at 5.6 mm and 165 g, while Samsung lists the Galaxy S25 Edge at 5.8 mm and 163 g. Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the iPhone Air if you prefer iOS, want the thinner manufacturer-stated body, value Apple’s 18 MP Center Stage front-camera functions, or need the listed 1 TB storage option.
- Choose the Galaxy S25 Edge if you want the larger screen, a dedicated rear ultrawide camera, Samsung’s Android and Galaxy AI features, or the slightly lower stated device weight.
- If battery life or photo quality is decisive, look for matched tests of both phones under the same conditions. The available battery figures use different methods, and the camera specifications do not establish an image-quality winner.
- If price is decisive, compare current local offers rather than relying on 2025 launch prices.
