That maximum applies to Resident Evil Requiem at 1080p Medium on Intel Core Ultra Series 2 integrated Arc graphics, compared with driver 31.0.101.9034. It is an Intel-reported result for a specific test system—not a 31% boost for every Arc graphics card.
What the 31% figure means
Intel’s release notes report an “up to” average-FPS uplift in Resident Evil Requiem using DX12: up to 31% at 1080p Medium and up to 29% at 1080p High. The comparison is against driver 31.0.101.9034, and the stated Series 2 test system was an MSI Claw 8 AI+ A2VM with Intel Core Ultra 7 258V integrated Arc graphics, 32 GB LPDDR5 memory at 8533 MHz, and Windows 11 Pro build 26200.9457. Intel cautions that performance varies by use, configuration, and other factors. These are vendor test figures, not independently verified results. Intel’s release notes and test configuration details provide the stated comparison and setup.

The result does not establish that an Arc B580 or another Arc system will gain 31%. Intel reports different results for different GPU families, games, resolutions, and quality presets.
Other performance gains Intel reports
The following are Intel’s “up to” average-FPS gains over driver 31.0.101.9034. The DX12 results for Core Ultra Series 2 integrated graphics use the same stated MSI Claw test configuration unless noted otherwise.

What else is included in the driver
Version 32.0.101.9150 WHQL adds Intel Game On support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Planet Zoo 2. “Game On” support is a compatibility and optimization designation; it does not mean every game issue is resolved. Intel’s known issues include intermittent Planet Zoo 2 crashes after endurance gaming settings are changed on some systems, lower-than-expected Gears of War: E-Day performance on Arc A-series and some Core Ultra Series 2 platforms, and other game-specific crashes or rendering problems. Check the release notes for the complete current issue list before updating for a particular game.

Who can install it, and what to check first
Intel offers the driver for Arc B-series and A-series graphics and Intel Core Ultra processors with Arc graphics. Intel’s download page lists Windows 11 and Windows 10 version 22H2 availability. Confirm that your device and operating-system version are supported on Intel’s driver download page and supported-platform information.
If you use a laptop, handheld, or other system with an OEM-customized graphics driver, check the computer maker’s guidance before installing Intel’s generic package. Intel says its generic driver may overwrite customized drivers; OEM drivers are selected and adapted for platform-specific needs. Intel recommends that business customers use their OEM drivers and report problems through the device vendor.

How to decide whether to update
- You play one of the listed games: The update may be worth trying, but treat Intel’s maximum results as potential gains under its stated test conditions, not a guaranteed improvement on your system.
- You own an Arc B-series card: The cited B-series results are up to 6% at 1440p High in two games. The 31% figure is not a B-series result.
- Your PC is a laptop or handheld: Check OEM driver advice first, particularly if stable, customized platform support is more important than trying a new generic driver.
- You are troubleshooting a known issue: Read the release notes’ issue list before installing; this release includes known game problems as well as new support.
To install, use Intel’s official driver download page and select the package that matches your hardware and Windows version. If your manufacturer directs you to its own graphics driver, follow that guidance instead. The MSI Claw hardware named in Intel’s test configuration is only the test reference; purchasing it is not required to install the driver.
