The Infinix Note 50X is a 5G phone, but “TECNO POVA 7” can mean two different devices: the 4G POVA 7 or the separate POVA 7 5G. That distinction changes the chipset, network support, display and battery figures. In the 91mobiles India comparison, the TECNO phone is explicitly labelled POVA 7 5G; its listed prices are an out-of-stock snapshot, not confirmed current offers.
First, identify the POVA 7 variant
TECNO’s base POVA 7 is a 4G model with a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate. The POVA 7 5G is a separate model with a Dimensity 7300 Ultimate. Infinix’s Note 50X 5G also uses the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate. The comparison figures below keep the two TECNO models separate rather than treating their names as interchangeable.

Manufacturer specifications and comparison-page figures are not necessarily measured on the same basis. In particular, the Note 50X and POVA 7 5G display and battery figures in the table come from 91mobiles, while the base POVA 7 display and battery figures come from TECNO. A higher megapixel count alone does not establish better photo quality; that requires comparable camera testing.

What the differences mean in practice
For 5G connectivity and chipset
The Note 50X 5G and POVA 7 5G share the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate according to their respective specifications. The base POVA 7 instead uses the Helio G100 Ultimate and lists only 2G, 3G and 4G support. If 5G is a requirement, confirm that the TECNO listing says “POVA 7 5G,” not just “POVA 7,” and check local band and carrier compatibility before buying.
For screen size, sharpness and refresh rate
TECNO’s base POVA 7 has a larger, higher-resolution screen than the Note 50X figures reported by 91mobiles. The comparison page assigns the POVA 7 5G a 144Hz display, versus 120Hz for the Note 50X. Those are variant-specific published specifications, not a guarantee that every app or game will run at the maximum refresh rate.

Capacity and charging wattage do not, by themselves, establish real-world battery life or charging time.

Price in India: what the comparison page shows
The 91mobiles comparison page, accessed on 7 October 2026, showed ₹13,499 for the Infinix Note 50X and ₹14,999 for the TECNO POVA 7 5G. Both were marked out of stock on that page, making the ₹1,500 difference a dated listing snapshot rather than a live, buyable price comparison. It does not establish what either phone currently costs, whether the same memory configuration is being compared, or which sellers have stock. Check current retailer listings for the exact model, configuration, seller and warranty before deciding on price.

- Consider the Note 50X 5G if its 5G support and 128GB storage with either 6GB or 8GB RAM suit your needs, and you find a current listing with acceptable price and warranty.
- Consider the base POVA 7 if you want its officially listed 7,000mAh battery and 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, and 4G connectivity is sufficient.
- Consider the POVA 7 5G if you specifically want the 5G variant’s Dimensity 7300 Ultimate, 144Hz display and TECNO-listed 30W wireless charging. Confirm those specifications and the price on the exact local model listing.
There is no reliable universal winner from these specifications alone: the right comparison depends first on which POVA 7 is sold in your market, then on current prices and availability for matching configurations.
