Price difference in India
The official Infinix India product listings showed these prices when checked. They are storefront listings, not guaranteed transaction prices or launch MRPs; promotions and availability may change.

At those listed prices, the base Note Edge costs ₹1,000 more than the GT 30 listing. The GT 30 page lists two storage options at the same displayed price; check the live page and variant selection, since offers and stock can differ. The Note Edge listing showed some variants as sold out when checked.

Which is better for gaming?
The GT 30 is the more explicitly gaming-focused choice in the listed hardware: it combines the Dimensity 7400, a 144Hz display and physical shoulder triggers. Those triggers add dedicated controls in supported games, while the higher refresh rate can make supported content appear smoother. Infinix’s “up to 90FPS” claim is not a promise that every game will run at that rate; actual frame rates depend on the game, settings and conditions.

The Note Edge also advertises up to 90FPS gaming, but its listed gaming controls do not include the GT 30’s integrated shoulder triggers. The chipset names alone do not establish a quantified performance gap; the available comparison does not provide directly comparable performance testing.

Display: 144Hz or curved?
Both phones have a 6.78-inch, 1.5K-class AMOLED display. The GT 30 listing specifies 144Hz, compared with 120Hz for the Note Edge. The Note Edge’s panel is curved, while the GT 30 is listed as LTPS AMOLED. Higher refresh rate and curved edges are different preferences, not a complete measure of display quality; neither specification alone establishes brightness, color accuracy or overall viewing quality.

Battery and charging
The Note Edge has the larger stated capacity: 6,500mAh, or 1,000mAh more than the GT 30’s 5,500mAh. That is a capacity comparison, not a guarantee of longer use; screen settings, network conditions, apps and gaming affect runtime. Both official listings specify 45W charging. Infinix lists 10W reverse charging for the GT 30 and promotes reverse wired charging for the Note Edge; confirm the exact implementation for the variant and region you plan to buy.
For context, 91mobiles reports battery-test results of 15 hours 09 minutes for the Note Edge and 10 hours 29 minutes for the GT 30. These are that outlet’s results, and the cited comparison passage does not provide enough test-protocol detail to treat them as universal or independently reproducible. Infinix also cautions on its Note Edge page that results from controlled Infinix Labs tests may vary with the testing environment.

The GT 30 is listed with a 64MP Sony dual-camera system; the Note Edge lists a 50MP main camera. These specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos. Megapixel count alone cannot account for image processing, lens characteristics, low-light performance or video quality, and the available listings do not provide comparable camera-test results.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the GT 30 5G+ if physical shoulder triggers and a higher listed refresh rate matter most to you, or if you want the lower listed price compared with the base Note Edge.
- Choose the Note Edge if you prefer a curved screen or prioritize its larger stated battery capacity.
- Compare the exact RAM and storage variant if you are deciding by price: the Note Edge has a 6GB/128GB entry option, while both phones list 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations.
