In Sahu’s account, Sanity provides the structured content and moderation workflow behind the community—not an automatically publishing feed. The project is described in a DEV Community post labeled a Sanity Challenge Path Two submission; the page displays “Posted on Sep 29” without a year.
What ABILITY360 is meant to do
Sahu frames ABILITY360 around a broader idea of accessibility: “Accessibility shouldn’t only be about removing barriers. It should also be about creating opportunities.” The concept is intended to help people with disabilities discover opportunities, find useful information, explore careers and share accessibility problems.

The post describes several connected areas: career exploration, an AI mentor, accessibility and career resources, community participation, accessibility reporting, and a possible direction for tracking progress. These are the author’s account of a hackathon build and its intended scope. The post does not independently establish the platform’s current availability, user adoption, accessibility conformance or the release status of every capability.
Why Sanity is part of the community design
Rather than placing all of the platform’s information directly in the frontend, the team says it modeled resources, community submissions, accessibility problems, opportunities and user requirements as structured content in Sanity. Sanity Studio is described as the interface administrators would use to add or update resources, manage community stories, review reports and change report status.

That approach separates the content and its management from the presentation layer. It can make changing information an editorial operation rather than a frontend code change, while requiring the team to decide how that information should be structured and who can manage it. Sahu summarizes the principle this way: “Don’t just build a frontend around your data. Design the data, workflows, and experiences together.”
How accessibility reports are supposed to be moderated
The proposed report flow keeps user submissions out of the public community until they have been reviewed:

- A user submits an accessibility problem or requirement—for example, “I found an accessibility problem here.”
- The submission enters a pending-review state.
- An administrator reviews it.
- If it is rejected, it is archived; if approved, it is published to the community.
This design addresses a practical tension: community reports can be valuable, but publishing every submission immediately may leave duplicates, unclear claims or unsuitable content unreviewed. The author’s design question is, “How do we make community content useful and manageable?” The post describes the review workflow as the intended approach; it does not establish how it performs in live use.

Where AI fits—and where human review remains necessary
The AI mentor is described as a way for users to explore career questions and learning paths. A longer-term idea is to connect guidance across career paths, required skills, learning resources, projects and opportunities. The post does not establish that this full recommendation chain is available now.

AI also played a role in the team’s development process. Sahu says it was used for UI prototyping, component generation, debugging, refactoring, feature exploration, UX iteration, documentation and architecture discussions. The working loop was to prompt, generate, run, test, debug, refine and repeat—not to accept generated code without inspection.
“AI-generated code isn’t automatically good code,” Sahu writes. The team still needed to understand the code, data flow and component connections, consider failure behavior, and check whether the implementation met its requirements. The post offers this as an account of a development approach, not as a measured productivity study.

What the team found difficult
Sahu identifies several design challenges that shaped the work:
Recommended Free Tools
- Data modeling: deciding how to represent resources, reports, opportunities and other content in a useful structure.
- Reporting effort: making it possible to report an accessibility barrier without imposing too much burden on the user.
- Moderation: defining the step between a pending submission and public community content.
- Growth: avoiding a frontend that depends on hard-coded content as the platform’s information changes.
The author describes the hackathon process as iterative: “Build -> Test -> Break -> Understand -> Fix -> Improve.” These are reported lessons, not quantified results.

What is described as a future direction
The post’s “What’s Next?” section lists ideas rather than confirmed launches. They include a community-powered accessibility map, an inclusive job marketplace, workplace accessibility profiles, community verification, AI classification of reports, evidence-based reporting, personal career roadmaps and richer Sanity workflows. Sahu also mentions possible report extensions such as duplicate detection, evidence uploads, location, categories, priority, organization responses, resolution tracking and report history. The article does not establish that these features are currently implemented.
What the project demonstrates
ABILITY360’s central design proposition is that an accessibility platform needs more than pages of information: it also needs a way to maintain that information and handle contributions responsibly. In the author’s account, Sanity supplies a structured content-management layer, while review before publication is intended to keep community submissions manageable. AI-assisted coding helped the team explore and iterate, but the post also emphasizes that developers remain responsible for understanding and checking what AI produces.
