The i-Vac Ultra Pets Plus S30 is a cordless stick vacuum supplied with a powered floor head and a mini motorised brush intended for pet hair on furniture and upholstery. Its manual states up to 24 minutes of runtime on low and 15 minutes on high, but those are manufacturer figures, not independent test results. Publicly accessible review pages do not establish its cleaning performance, so this review focuses on documented specifications, included tools, care and what remains unverified.
First, confirm that you have the S30 model
“Ultra Pets Plus” also appears in search results for a separately named S40. The specifications and manual details below apply to the S30, identified as model 14120163 in its manual; do not assume they describe an S40 or every regional package. Check the product label and the manual supplied with the unit before relying on model-specific figures or parts information.

The S30 manual describes a cordless cleaner for domestic use and dry household dirt and dust. It is not evidence of suitability for wet spills or commercial cleaning.
What the S30 specifications say
| Specification | S30 manual | CHOICE listing |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | 21.6 V DC, 2000 mAh Li-ion | 21.6 V Li-ion |
| Runtime | 24 minutes on low; 15 minutes on high | Not listed in the accessible extract |
| Charging time | Four hours | Four hours claimed |
| Dust capacity | 400 ml stated | 0.5 L measured |
| Weight | 2.36 kg net in an indexed manual copy | 2.41 kg measured |
| Warranty | Two years parts and labour for domestic use, subject to terms | Two years listed |
The runtime, battery capacity and 400 ml bin figure are from the S30 manual; they are not independent measurements. CHOICE lists a measured 0.5 L collector, which should not be substituted for the manual’s stated capacity. Its measured weight is 2.41 kg, while an indexed manual copy gives 2.36 kg net. The sources do not explain that difference, so the figures should not be treated as directly interchangeable. CHOICE’s accessible product listing also reports the charge time and warranty; publication dates are not shown in the retrieved listings.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Tools in the package and what they are for
Package contents may vary by market or listing. CHOICE names the vacuum, powered brush head, powered mini brush head, dusting brush, crevice tool, extension hose, charger, and wall mount with screws. The S30 manual instead describes a 2-in-1 cleaning tool, crevice tool, flexible adaptor, mini motorised pet brush and wall storage bracket; it says wall-mounting screws are not included. Check the box or seller’s listing for the exact package associated with your unit.
Floor head and pet brush
The manual describes the powered floor head for daily cleaning on carpets and hard floors. It says the mini motorised pet brush is “Ideal for picking up pet hair from furniture and upholstery.” That intended use is not a measured result for pet-hair pickup. The manual explicitly warns not to use the rotating brush on pets.

What independent reviews establish—and what they do not
CHOICE identifies a review by tester Adrian Lini, but the accessible page gates its expert rating, pros and cons to members. Consumer NZ has an S30 listing with test categories, while detailed results require access. Those pages therefore do not establish an accessible score, comparative ranking, suction result or measured pet-hair performance.

That limits the verdict: the manual documents a pet-hair attachment and basic ownership specifications, but the available material is not enough to conclude how well the S30 cleans, how its runtime performs in practice, or how it compares with competing vacuums. Use the documented figures as specifications, not as proof of real-world performance.
Warranty and regional checks
The manual states a two-year parts-and-labour warranty for domestic use, subject to its terms; CHOICE also lists two years. Warranty conditions can depend on region and purchase circumstances, so consult the current warranty documents for the market where you are buying rather than assuming the manual’s terms apply everywhere.
