Daniel Ki, who describes himself as a solo Android developer from South Korea, says he has built and published more than 80 apps on Google Play. Of that self-reported portfolio, he highlights Russian Roulette — Party Game and Blow Cake — Birthday Celebration: one turns choosing who is “it” into a party game, while the other uses a phone microphone to put out virtual birthday candles.
What are the two apps Daniel Ki built himself?
Ki’s DEV Community article, shown as posted September 29, 2026, says he has built and published “over 80 apps” on Google Play over the past few years. That is his own portfolio count; it has not been independently audited. He chose two contrasting apps to feature: a group decision game and a playful birthday-celebration app.

The app adapts the familiar Russian roulette concept into a party selection game, not a real-firearm activity. Its Google Play listing says 2–10 players can play on one phone and names three modes: Trigger, Spin, and Pistol. Players can choose from built-in penalties or create custom ones. Ki’s article also describes setting the player and chamber counts.

Their shared approach is more apparent in their simple, occasion-specific interactions than in their features: one offers a quick group decision, and the other a playful birthday gesture. The available sources do not establish the apps’ revenue, active-user totals, or development process.
