In a September 21, 2026, DEV Community post, Abir Munjal describes building one free browser-based collection to bring those utilities together. The post names nine tools, says the collection has 16, and presents browser-side processing and no sign-up as design features; those privacy details are the author’s claims, not an independent audit.
What the collection is meant to solve
Munjal describes a familiar bit of developer friction: repeatedly finding a site for a quick task, using it, then closing the tab. The project’s premise is simple: gather small utilities in one place rather than making people revisit separate websites for JSON formatting, Base64 work or UUID generation.

The post calls the collection free and says it requires no sign-up. It attributes a total of 16 tools to the project, but the available post text names only nine; it does not provide enough detail to identify the other seven.
Which tools the post names
- JSON Formatter & Validator
- Regex Tester
- Base64 Encoder/Decoder
- UUID Generator
- Color Converter
- Word Frequency Counter
- Duplicate Line Remover
- Random Line Picker
- Markdown to HTML Converter
Munjal also refers to additional text-manipulation tools without naming them in the available text. The nine-item list above is therefore not a complete inventory of the claimed 16.

How Munjal says the tools are built
The post names Astro for static pages, Tailwind for styling and Cloudflare Pages for hosting. Munjal says JavaScript is loaded only when a particular tool needs it, so independent tools do not need to load one another’s code. These are the author’s descriptions of the implementation, rather than independently verified measurements of the live site.
What the privacy claim does—and does not—establish
Munjal says pasted JSON, regular expressions and text are processed in the browser and never sent to a server. That is a useful design claim for anyone deciding whether to paste data into a web utility, but the post does not include a network trace, security review or other independent verification. Readers handling confidential or sensitive material should not treat the post alone as proof of how the current site behaves; verify the site’s data handling independently or use an approved local tool.

What the post leaves unspecified
- It does not name all 16 tools in the available text.
- It does not independently substantiate the client-side processing or no-sign-up claims.
- It does not give comparative testing, performance results or a security assessment.
Those limits matter: the post is an account of why Munjal built the collection and how he says it works, not a complete catalog or an independent evaluation.
