The HUTT 10 is easy to start and, in Notebookcheck’s test, cleaned ordinary dirt from windows, mirrors and shower partitions effectively. It is not a hands-off replacement for every glass-cleaning job: heavily soiled panes may need pre-cleaning or another pass, marks can remain, and the reviewer still finished with a hand wipe. The robot needs mains power while cleaning and is not intended for horizontal surfaces.
What the HUTT 10 does
The HUTT 10 attaches to glass using suction and moves across the surface autonomously. Its rotating damp pad performs a wet-cleaning stage followed by dry polishing. It has a central button and a remote control; Notebookcheck reports that the reviewed model has no app connection. The remote can steer the robot, start spot cleaning, switch wet and dry modes, and select standard or intensive cleaning. Notebookcheck’s review describes the tested unit and its behavior.

How it performed on glass
Ordinary dirt
Reviewer Benedikt Winkel found the HUTT 10 easy to get going: connect it to power, long-press the main button to attach it, then press briefly to start cleaning. In the review, it moved reliably on vertical surfaces. The reviewer described the results on dust, fingerprints and rain streaks as impressive.

Heavy grime and finishing
For heavily soiled windows, the reviewer recommends rough pre-cleaning or running multiple passes, with the cloths cleaned between passes. Marks remained at the start/end attachment position on several occasions, and a roller-drive mark appeared on one tested window. The reviewer could remove these with a cloth, but still needed to wipe the surfaces after the robot finished. These are findings from one reviewer’s test, not a prediction that every pane will show the same marks.
Which surfaces and orientations are suitable?
Notebookcheck tested the HUTT 10 on windows, mirrors and shower partitions. The reviewer also tried it on a skylight, where it did not work; the proposed explanation was that the tested angle was too shallow. The test does not establish a universal minimum angle. Separately, HUTT Shop says the robot is unsuitable for horizontal surfaces, so do not assume it can clean a flat tabletop or horizontal pane.

The article title’s reference to doors should not be taken as a broader claim about door cleaning: the review specifically reports windows, mirrors, shower partitions and a skylight test, not doors generally.

Power, reach and safety
The robot must remain plugged in while it cleans. Notebookcheck measured 6.5 m for the total power cord on its sample, which is a practical limit to consider when planning where it can reach. If power is interrupted, the review says the backup battery keeps the robot attached and triggers an alert; it does not continue cleaning in backup mode.

HUTT Shop lists an included 4.5 m safety rope. Attach and use the safety equipment according to the instructions supplied with your specific unit, especially when cleaning above a drop. HUTT’s support site has a support page that lists a W10 2.0 tutorial and electronic manual; it also lists HUTT10 as a separate model, so verify that any instructions you consult apply to your exact version.
What comes in the box
Notebookcheck’s review sample included a storage bag, power adapter, remote, spare cloths, spare nozzles, manual, empty filling bottle and attached safety cable. The reviewer also notes that the manufacturer reported cleaning solution in retail versions. Bundles can vary by region, so check the contents for the version sold where you live.

Who should consider the HUTT 10?
- A reasonable fit: someone who wants a robot to handle routine dust, fingerprints or rain streaks on vertical windows, mirrors or shower partitions and accepts occasional touch-up work.
- Less suitable: someone expecting spotless results on heavily soiled panes in one pass, needing to clean horizontal surfaces, or wanting an app-based control system.
- Before buying: check the glass orientation and minimum area, confirm cord reach and the regional package contents, and plan how you will secure the unit while it is operating.
Notebookcheck tested the HUTT 10 rather than a field of competing robots, so its review supports an assessment of this model—not a comparative ranking against alternatives.
