Html2Pdf.app’s published API documentation does not state a numeric requests-per-minute or requests-per-second limit. It also does not document rate-limit headers or a 429 policy. Its published plan limits are monthly credits, concurrent conversions, and—on the Free plan—a PDF-size cap. Those figures are not an RPM allowance. If you receive a limit error, check your plan and account notification email, then contact Html2Pdf.app support to confirm whether an account-specific rate threshold applies.
Does Html2Pdf.app publish a requests-per-minute limit?
No numeric RPM or RPS threshold appears in Html2Pdf.app’s API documentation. The reviewed documentation also does not specify rate-limit response headers or describe whether the API returns HTTP 429 for throttling. That means the public limit is undocumented in those materials—not that no per-second or per-minute throttle exists.

Do not infer a requests-per-minute figure from the service’s monthly credits or concurrent-conversion allowance. These measure different things. If your application needs a confirmed rate threshold, ask the provider about your account and plan; the published pages do not settle that question.
What the published plan limits mean
Html2Pdf.app’s current pricing page lists these monthly prices, credit allowances, concurrency limits, and PDF-size terms. The page is live and does not display a publication date; verify prices and allowances there before purchasing.

According to the Html2Pdf.app pricing page, each 5 MB chunk of generated PDF consumes one credit; its example says a 15 MB PDF costs three credits. Credits reset on the first day of each month. These are usage and capacity terms, not requests-per-minute figures: a larger plan’s higher concurrency does not establish that it permits a particular number of requests per minute.
How to respond to Html2Pdf.app errors
Check the HTTP status before treating the response body as a PDF. A successful synchronous request returns binary PDF data; an error response should be handled as an error, not saved as a document.

The status explanations and retry guidance above come from the official API documentation. If you receive a status not covered there, preserve the status, response headers, response body, and request time when contacting support; do not treat an undocumented status as proof of a particular RPM cap.
Control your client’s request rate safely
While waiting for account-specific guidance, use conservative client-side controls to avoid bursts and to keep failures from multiplying. These are application safeguards, not Html2Pdf.app-published rate limits.

- Limit simultaneous work to the concurrency available on your plan, and queue excess jobs rather than launching them all at once.
- Track monthly credits separately from request count. Estimate credit use from generated PDF sizes using the vendor’s stated 5 MB chunk rule.
- For 500 responses, follow the vendor’s advice: wait briefly, then increase the delay between repeated attempts. Set a finite retry count and log final failures.
- Do not automatically retry 400, 401, or 403 without fixing the underlying cause. Repeating an invalid request does not correct it and can obscure the useful error.
- Do not assume a 429 response, a particular header, or an account quota reset time beyond the documented monthly credit reset; confirm those details with support if your client depends on them.
Use callbacks for long-running background jobs
For asynchronous processing, the API documentation describes the callBackUrl option: an accepted job returns HTTP 202, and Html2Pdf.app sends the completed PDF to the callback. This can keep your client from holding an open request while conversion runs, but the documentation does not say callback mode raises or changes any request-rate limit.
Make callback handling idempotent so a repeated delivery cannot create duplicate work. The documentation says failed callback delivery may be retried up to three times. Secure the callback endpoint, validate incoming requests using the mechanism supported by your integration, and record job outcomes so you can reconcile completed and failed work.

Keep the API key out of public code
Store the Html2Pdf.app API key on a backend or trusted worker. Its documentation warns against exposing the key in browser JavaScript or public repositories. A browser-facing application should call your own server, which can authenticate to the PDF API without disclosing the secret to users.
