The HP ENVY 6555e is specified as a home-oriented print, copy, and scan all-in-one with mobile fax, automatic two-sided printing, and a 35-sheet document feeder. HP rates it at up to 10 pages per minute in black and 7 in color, and recommends printing 100–400 pages a month. Those figures suggest a fit for ordinary household workloads, not a reason to expect fast high-volume production. The key trade-off is a capable feature set paired with modest paper capacity and HP+ conditions that matter if you activate the service.
What the HP ENVY 6555e does
HP describes the ENVY 6555e as a thermal inkjet all-in-one for printing, copying, scanning, and mobile fax. The fax feature is identified as mobile fax; the listed information does not establish a conventional telephone-line fax connection. HP lists dual-band Wi-Fi, Hi-Speed USB 2.0, Apple AirPrint, the HP app, Chrome OS printing, and Mopria options. See HP’s US specifications and its Canada product page for the published feature details.

How fast is it, and how much can it handle?
HP rates the printer at up to 10 pages per minute in black and 7 pages per minute in color using ISO print-speed figures. These are manufacturer ratings, not independently measured results, and actual job times can vary with content and settings. HP recommends a monthly volume of 100–400 pages. Its published maximum duty cycle is up to 1,000 pages in a month, but HP cautions that this maximum is not an ongoing recommended workload. For a household that prints occasional forms, school assignments, or short documents, the recommended range is the more useful figure; frequent large batches are a less natural fit.

The input tray holds up to 100 sheets and the output tray up to 25. Automatic duplex printing can reduce paper use for multipage documents, but it does not increase tray capacity. These specifications are listed by HP Support and in HP’s technical datasheet.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Can it scan a stack of pages?
Yes. It has a flatbed scanner and a 35-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF), so a stack of pages can be fed for scanning rather than placed on the glass one at a time. HP lists optical scan resolution up to 1200 dpi, flatbed scanning up to 8.5 × 11.7 inches, and ADF scanning up to 8.5 × 14 inches in its specifications and datasheet. Listed scan formats include JPG, basic PDF, PNG, TIF, and HEIF, with workflows for scanning to a file, PC, email, or cloud service.
The available specifications establish automatic document feeding, but do not establish duplex scanning. Do not assume the ADF will scan both sides of a sheet automatically; that is distinct from the printer’s confirmed automatic duplex printing. Feature details are on HP Support and in the HP datasheet.

Is it suitable for photos?
HP lists photo papers and other inkjet presentation media as supported, along with borderless printing up to 8.5 × 12 inches. That makes photo printing a supported use, but specifications alone cannot establish color accuracy, detail, print permanence, or how attractive a particular photo will look. If photo quality is decisive, look for independent sample-based testing rather than treating media compatibility as a quality guarantee.

What does HP+ require?
HP states that HP+ activation requires an HP account, an ongoing internet connection, and exclusive use of Original HP ink for the life of the printer. That is a lasting operating commitment, not merely a setup step. HP’s regional offers and subscription details can vary or change, so check the terms shown for your country before activation. HP’s HP Bangladesh specifications page states the HP+ conditions and Instant Ink eligibility for that regional listing.

Size, setup, and practical limits
HP gives dimensions of 17.05 × 14.21 × 6.73 inches and a weight of 13.5 lb; the listed maximum depth is 20.19 inches with the printer extended. Allow space for trays and paper in addition to the unit’s base dimensions. HP says a USB cable is not included, so a wired setup may require a separately obtained cable. These details are in the HP Support specifications.

- A reasonable match: households that want printing, copying, scanning, mobile fax, automatic duplex printing, and an ADF for occasional multi-page jobs, while staying within HP’s recommended 100–400 pages per month.
- Think carefully if: you regularly print large batches, need high-throughput output, or depend on two-sided scanning. The listed tray capacities are small for sustained batch work, and duplex scanning is not established in the published material cited here.
- Check before buying or activating: current local price and stock, warranty coverage, ink and Instant Ink terms, and HP+ conditions for your region. Those details are not settled by a specification sheet and may change.
