A free YouTube channel membership trial does not itself generate paid membership revenue for the creator during the free month. If the viewer continues as a paying member afterward, YouTube says creators receive 70% of membership revenue recognized by Google after local sales tax and other applicable fees are deducted—not necessarily 70% of the displayed membership price.
This refers to a trial of a specific creator’s channel membership, not a YouTube Premium trial. The two are separate products with different terms.

What a YouTube channel membership free trial means
YouTube describes channel membership trials as letting a viewer become a channel member free of charge for one month. A viewer can redeem one such trial across creators on YouTube, and the offer is automatically presented to eligible viewers. The creator can turn the offer off in YouTube Studio. Accordingly, it does not create paid channel membership revenue from that viewer for the free month. YouTube’s 70% revenue-share terms apply to recognized membership revenue, not to a hypothetical trial charge.

What happens to earnings when the trial ends?
If the viewer converts to a paid membership, the creator’s share is calculated from the membership revenue YouTube recognizes after applicable deductions. If the viewer does not continue as a paying member, the free trial has not produced paid membership revenue from that viewer. The available policy information does not establish a conversion rate or typical earnings lift from trials, so there is no reliable universal estimate of how much trials add to a creator’s total income.
A trial concerns channel membership revenue only. It should not be treated as a reduction to, or a replacement for, a creator’s separate eligible revenue from ads, YouTube Premium viewing, or other monetization features.

Where to check membership earnings
To review membership data in YouTube Studio, go to Analytics → Revenue → How you make money → Memberships. YouTube’s analytics guidance also describes reporting for gifted memberships and redeemed gifts, but it does not establish that free-trial activity appears as a separate analytics line item. Do not assume that a distinct trial-only figure is available. YouTube Help: Analyse and manage your YouTube channel memberships programme.
Channel membership trials are not YouTube Premium trials
A channel membership trial gives an eligible viewer a temporary free membership to one creator’s channel. A YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium trial is a separate subscription offer: its duration may vary, it requires a payment method, and it automatically renews at the then-current price unless canceled before the trial ends. Those Premium billing rules do not determine what a creator earns from channel memberships. See YouTube Help: Learn about YouTube Premium trials & promotions.

Keep a separate YouTube livestream running
Membership earnings and channel livestream operations are different matters. If you also run an always-on YouTube stream using uploaded videos, StreamNeo is a cloud service that loops uploaded videos to YouTube, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It streams the uploaded video as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream, and the first day is free with no card. UPI works for payments in India.
StreamNeo is for uploaded video, not a live camera feed. It does not change YouTube membership eligibility, trial terms, or how YouTube calculates membership revenue.
