For 2026, the right streaming option depends on where you are watching and which game you want. MLB lists Rays.TV for Rays games in the Rays’ home market and Gotham Sports/Prime Video for Yankees games in the Yankees’ home market; outside a team’s home market, MLB lists MLB.TV. Nationally exclusive games can require a different service, and blackout rules still apply, so check the specific game before subscribing.

These are team-level listings, not a promise that every head-to-head game will be carried by the same app. The Rays announced a 2026 Rays.TV plus MLB.TV out-of-market bundle for $199.99 per season; confirm price and eligibility before buying. Check the broadcast before you pay
- Find the exact game and date. Check the current MLB or team schedule and the service’s game listing.
- Look for a national exclusive. Selected regular-season and postseason games may be carried exclusively by national MLB media partners. The Rays say such games are unavailable through Rays.TV and MLB.TV in the United States. Use the partner named for that game rather than assuming a team subscription includes it.
- Match the service to your location. Home-market access and out-of-market access are different. MLB.TV is for out-of-market regular-season games and remains subject to blackouts.
- Confirm price and terms at checkout. The Rays’ stated prices are from its 2026 announcement; they are not a guarantee of later pricing or availability.
ESPN explains that local and regional blackouts protect the primary rights holder and that it determines location using the viewer’s IP address. If a game is blocked, check the local listing and MLB’s availability locator; an out-of-market subscription should not be assumed to work inside a team’s protected region. The Rays describe Rays.TV as a direct-to-consumer option for local fans and say it carries games without local blackouts. The club announced 2026 pricing of $99.99 per season or $19.99 monthly. Those are the Rays’ published 2026 prices; check the current offer before subscribing. The team says Rays.TV is accessible through MLB.com and the MLB App on a wide variety of devices. Pay-TV and internet-TV providers
For selected Rays games, the team lists participating cable, satellite, and internet-TV options, including Fubo, DirecTV/DTV Stream, Comcast/Xfinity, Spectrum, AT&T U-verse, and Cox. Availability and channel numbers vary by location and provider, so check local listings. A provider’s inclusion does not establish that every game is available through it. The Rays’ distribution announcement names these routes.
Over-the-air broadcasts
The Rays’ official 2026 schedule included 10 over-the-air games, with local partner stations varying across Florida markets. One was Rays at Yankees on Sunday, May 24, 2026; that broadcast date has passed. It is an example of a free local broadcast route, not an upcoming option. Check the current schedule for future over-the-air games. The Rays said all 162 regular-season games would be available through local distribution or national broadcast partners, but not necessarily through one streaming subscription. National streaming games are a separate case
Some games are assigned to national partners rather than a team’s local service. The Rays specifically warn that nationally exclusive games are not available through Rays.TV or MLB.TV in the United States. Apple and MLB describe Friday Night Baseball as a weekly 2026 Apple TV doubleheader without local broadcast restrictions, but that does not mean a Rays–Yankees game is included: check the schedule for the particular matchup. Rays.TV access through MLB.com and the MLB App supports a range of devices, but compatibility depends on the specific device and app. Apple’s 2026 Apple TV device list includes Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices; it does not establish support for every model or every sports app. Check the app listing for your device before buying hardware.
