Where to watch official GTA 6 videos
Rockstar’s GTA VI video page lists Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look (August 27, 2026), Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025), and Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023). The page links to official viewing options, including YouTube and Netflix. Check the platform itself for regional availability and any access requirements.

The page does not state individual file sizes or promise a particular quality, but downloading an available file first avoids relying on a continuous stream during playback.

Fix buffering on a phone or computer
- Try another connection. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then replay the video. Mobile data charges may apply.
- On a phone, clear the YouTube app cache. The exact menu path varies by device and operating-system version.
- On a computer, close extra tabs and update the browser. Reopen the browser and retry; if playback errors persist, restart the device.
- Lower playback quality. A lower resolution needs less sustained bandwidth and may play more smoothly on a constrained connection, though image detail will be reduced.
These are troubleshooting steps, not guarantees. YouTube’s device-specific advice is available in its playback troubleshooting guidance.
Improve playback on a TV
YouTube recommends a minimum connection speed of 7 Mbps for HD streaming in its TV troubleshooting guidance. That is a recommendation, not a guarantee: actual playback can still vary with Wi-Fi signal, other network use, device performance, and video quality.

- Test the connection near the TV and keep the streaming device within good router range.
- Reduce Wi-Fi interference; avoid placing the router in a recessed or metal-blocked location.
- Pause downloads or other heavy network use on devices sharing the connection.
- If playback remains unstable, manually choose a lower video quality.
- Quit and reopen the YouTube app, restart the TV or streaming device, and install available system updates.
An Ethernet connection may help if Wi-Fi signal or interference is the problem, but it is optional: both the router and viewing device need compatible wired ports, and a cable is not a guaranteed fix.
Watching YouTube in 4K on PS5
PlayStation’s guidance for YouTube 4K on PS5 calls for a PS5 configured for 4K, a 4K display, and a steady connection of at least 25 Mbps. This figure applies to that PS5-and-YouTube 4K use case; it is not a universal minimum for every GTA VI video, device, or resolution. To check playback resolution, open YouTube’s “Show Video Info” control and look for 3840 × 2160. Follow PlayStation’s PS5 YouTube instructions for setup details.

Live stream buffering: choose continuity over low delay
Live video has a trade-off: less broadcast delay means less buffer in the player and a greater chance of interruptions. YouTube says network congestion and other factors can also delay live programming, even when your connection seems adequate.
For YouTube Primetime Channels on a TV, YouTube identifies the “Default” broadcast-delay setting as the choice to minimize interruptions. “Decrease” can reduce live spoilers, but it lowers the buffer. This documented control applies to that TV viewing context; it may not be available for every YouTube live stream. If uninterrupted viewing matters more than being as close to live as possible, do not select the lowest-delay option. See YouTube’s troubleshooting guidance.

If the video still buffers
Try another supported device. For TV playback, YouTube also describes casting from another device or connecting a laptop to the TV by HDMI as alternate routes. For Rockstar’s listed GTA VI videos, the official download option is another way to watch without depending on an uninterrupted stream.
