Check the preview before proceeding
Make sure the preview shows the correct product, the intended currency, and a price. A listing can show a different offer depending on location, seller, or variant. If the price is missing because the page has not finished loading, add a wait time in Advanced settings or use a wait action, then inspect the preview again.

Select the price area if it is stable
Use the page-selection tool to isolate the displayed price when it can select that element reliably. Watching a specific element can reduce alerts caused by unrelated page changes. If the price cannot be isolated consistently, monitor the page and make the alert criterion precise. Set the checking location when the listing is localized
Open the monitor’s Advanced settings and set “Check from” to India if the retailer serves different content by country. Visualping’s default checking IP is in California, United States, and India is listed as an available location. Choose a schedule and start monitoring

Review the alert and adjust if needed
Email alerts are enabled by default. Visualping alerts can include added or removed content, a visual comparison, and an AI summary. If an alert reports irrelevant page changes, refine the selected region or criterion and confirm the target still points to the intended price.

What to verify before acting on an alert
- Product and variant: Confirm the alert is for the intended size, color, model, or pack quantity.
- Seller and offer: A listing may switch sellers or change coupons, availability, or other offer details alongside the displayed price. Reopen the retailer page and check the exact seller and offer before buying.
- Price context: Compare the displayed price with the full listing, including any conditions shown there; a changed page element does not by itself establish the final price at checkout.
- Current page behavior: Page layouts can change, and a saved selection may stop matching the intended element. Recheck the preview and target after a layout or listing change.

Troubleshoot a monitor that misses or misreports prices
The preview shows the wrong country, currency, or offer
Set “Check from” to India in the monitor’s Advanced settings, then reload or recheck the preview. The location setting can affect which version of a page is served, but the preview is the practical check that the desired listing is visible. If the retailer blocks or varies the page, the location option does not guarantee access.
The price is missing from the preview
Give the page more time to render by adding a wait time in Advanced settings or a wait action. Check the preview again before relying on alerts; a monitor cannot report a price it never captures.
The selection tool cannot isolate the price
Try a direct XPath, class, or selector for the price element. If the target is unstable or the page changes frequently, monitor the full page and use a precise criterion instead. Revisit the selection if the listing’s layout changes. Visualping Knowledge Base
The page shows a bot check, CAPTCHA, or access block
Visualping suggests trying another checking location or its Basic Proxy for geo-block or bot-detection issues; residential proxies are described for Business accounts and may help on certain sites. The alert arrives later than the price change
A check must happen after the price changes, so alerts follow the monitor’s schedule rather than the retailer’s update in real time. If your plan permits, choose a shorter interval and account for the fact that more frequent checks use quota more quickly.
