Yes. WhatsApp announced native support for two accounts logged in at the same time on iPhone on March 26, 2026. Each account needs its own phone number. The feature is rolling out, so the option may not be available on every iPhone yet.
What you need for a second WhatsApp account
The second account must use a different phone number; you cannot add the same number as a separate account. WhatsApp says the number can be supplied by a second SIM card or by a phone that accepts multiple SIMs or eSIM. Whether a second line is available, and what it costs, depends on your carrier and location.

WhatsApp describes this as two different accounts on one mobile device. It does not publish a universal carrier price or a guaranteed date for the feature to reach every user.
How to add another WhatsApp account on iPhone
- Open WhatsApp and tap Settings.
- Tap the account selector or arrow next to your name.
- Choose Add account.
- Register and verify the separate phone number you want to use.
WhatsApp’s account selector lets you switch between the accounts. The active account is identified by its profile picture in the bottom tab, which helps you check which profile you are using before sending a message.

Use WhatsApp’s official app
The two-account feature is built into the official WhatsApp app. WhatsApp has warned users against installing imitation or modified apps to get additional accounts; use the official app and its account selector instead.
