Working With Headings, Lists, Links, and Emphasis
Headings, lists, links, and emphasis are the most useful formatting tools when you want a pad file to be more readable without turning it into a full word-processing document. For s that rely on Markdown-style formatting, save the file with a .md extension when possible. For example, use a name such as meeting-notes.md or project-plan.md.
