Set up the pages and flows you want to monitor
Start by defining the scope. Add the site and the individual pages you need to track; Fluxguard does not necessarily capture every page on a site automatically. A session can represent a monitoring recipe or user flow. For content behind interactions, configure actions such as clicking a control or submitting a form so the relevant page state is available to capture. Run the first crawl to create a baseline
Initiate an initial crawl after configuring the scope. Fluxguard’s visual monitoring guide describes a baseline capture containing a screenshot, complete HTML, extracted text, and a HAR network profile. Later crawls create versions that can be compared with that baseline. The console’s Page View retains prior captures and exposes version data such as HTML, network activity, cookies, extracted text, and screenshots. Choose how Fluxguard detects changes
Text comparison is the default detection strategy according to Fluxguard’s FAQ. You can configure visual or pixel comparison as the primary strategy, or use it as additional analysis. Your choice should reflect what you are trying to catch:

Set the crawl cadence and account for credits
Choose a frequency in the session settings that fits how quickly a change matters. Faster checks produce more opportunities to detect a change but also consume credits more quickly. Fluxguard’s frequency guide notes that very fast schedules require site verification by email; its current pricing page advertises rapid crawling as often as every five minutes on Premium. Fluxguard’s FAQ says each crawled page deducts one credit, with extra credit charges possible for some optional features. The pricing page currently lists the following historical-version limits per page; these are product terms that can change, not an indefinite archive guarantee.

Compare captures and receive notifications
In the console, open Page View and select two captured versions to compare. Choose the relevant view—text, rendered DOM/HTML, screenshot or pixel, network activity, cookies, or headers—to understand what changed. Fluxguard documents these views in its console walkthrough.
For notifications, configure email alerts or send change data to an endpoint using webhooks. Fluxguard also documents API access, but labels its API guide as beta; treat it accordingly if integrating it into a production workflow. See the webhook guide and API guide.
