The official page identifies Colorlib as the author and labels the template CC BY 3.0. It displays both an April 21, 2018 post date and “Released: April 2026”; the page does not explain how those dates relate, so neither date alone establishes the template’s original launch date. What you need to make the form work
The downloaded design supplies the front end: the visible fields, controls, and layout. It does not verify credentials, create accounts, manage sessions, or protect user data on its own. Colorlib says the form’s action must connect to server-side login code or an authentication service. Choose and implement that connection before treating the page as a real sign-in flow.

Colorlib’s current collection describes its templates as responsive HTML and CSS with a little vanilla JavaScript. It says they can be used on their own or within Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects without requiring Bootstrap or jQuery files. These are the publisher’s compatibility claims, not independent test results. Check the downloaded files and test them in your own project before relying on a particular setup.
License and attribution
The template page labels Login Form 6 CC BY 3.0. Colorlib’s collection says its templates can be used in personal and commercial projects under that license if the Colorlib credit link is retained. Practical implementation choices
When adapting the page, connect each visible link and control to a real destination or behavior. A forgotten-password link should start a recovery flow, and a sign-up link should lead to registration; decorative links alone do not provide those functions.
- Allow password-manager and browser autofill, and do not block users from pasting passwords.
- Show validation and sign-in errors as readable text rather than relying only on color or visual changes.
- Check the layout on small screens as well as desktop sizes.
These are implementation suggestions from Colorlib’s collection, not a substitute for designing and reviewing the full authentication system. Login Form 6 is most suitable when you need a minimal front-end screen; a layout or sign-in pattern with other flows would require a different design or further development. Colorlib’s collection lists 73 login page templates in its September 28, 2026 publication; that is the publisher’s collection count, not an independent market total.
