If you mean a saved billing or shipping address, edit it separately in Samsung Wallet; Wallet addresses are not the same setting as your account’s country or region.
Change your Samsung Account country or region
- Open account.samsung.com in a browser and sign in.
- Open Profile, then scroll to Edit personal information.
- Select Country or region, choose the intended country, and select Change.
- Read Samsung’s on-screen information, select the acknowledgment checkbox, and select Change again to confirm.
Samsung Canada says you can do this in a browser on a computer, tablet, or phone. Its instructions do not require buying a physical product. See Samsung Canada’s country-or-region guide.

What changes when you switch regions
- You must wait before changing again. Samsung Canada says the account cannot change country again, or return to its previous country, for 180 days after a change. This interval is stated in Samsung Canada’s 2026 guidance; check the confirmation screen for terms that apply to your account.
- Connected devices may sign out. You may need to sign in again on devices linked to the account.
- Service availability can differ. Samsung states that “Your Samsung account country determines which services and features are available on your device.” It gives SmartThings as an example of a service that may not be available after a country change.
- Purchase history is country-specific in the displayed account view. Samsung says you may need to switch back to the country where a purchase was made to see that country’s history, but the 180-day interval can prevent an immediate return.
Check whether your account can change country
Samsung lists restrictions that can depend on the account and market. Family-group and child accounts cannot change country. Other possible restrictions include Galaxy Store seller accounts, accounts undergoing European privacy-rights processing, phone-number-only IDs, accounts below the local age threshold, and changes involving Mainland China. If the option is unavailable or the change is refused, review Samsung’s country-change guidance and its country-change restriction information; the reason may depend on your specific account.

Update a saved address in Samsung Wallet
Samsung Wallet has a separate profile from your Samsung Account profile. To manage a saved billing or shipping address in Wallet:

- Open Samsung Wallet and select All.
- Select More options (the three dots), then Settings and Profile.
- Choose Register new address to add one. To edit an existing address or make it the default, select its edit control, make the change, and save.
Samsung says Wallet can store up to three addresses. These steps change Wallet address details, not the Samsung Account country or region. See Samsung’s Wallet address instructions.

Samsung’s guidance explains how to edit personal information on the account website or through Galaxy device settings, but it does not establish that a street or mailing address field is available in every account or country. The Wallet instructions apply only to addresses saved in Wallet. For general profile details, consult Samsung’s personal-information guide.
