Requirements to unlock the Forge
- Level 65: Current community guides list level 65 as the Forge progression gate. Reaching that level makes the quest available; you must still complete it. (Slayer 2 Wiki quest guide; Slayers 2 Guide: Ouwigahara)
- Blacksmith Togane: Find him in Hidden Mist Village and select the Forge-related dialogue option. One guide reports the wording as “Your other forge,” but NPC dialogue may change. (Slayers 2 Guide: Ouwigahara)
- The Forge Above: Accept and complete this quest. A community guide describes its objective as opening the Ouwigahara portal. (Slayers 2 Guide: Ouwigahara)
These requirements and directions come from third-party guides rather than official developer documentation. If Togane’s dialogue or your quest marker differs, use the current in-game objective as the authority.

How to unlock the Ouwigahara route
- Reach level 65.
- Go to Hidden Mist Village and speak with Blacksmith Togane.
- Choose the Forge-related dialogue and accept The Forge Above.
- Follow the active quest objective to the Ouwigahara portal. A guide describes it as a purple portal beyond the plains; use your live quest marker if the route has changed. (Slayers 2 Guide: Ouwigahara)
- Enter the Ouwigahara route and locate the Nichirin Forge for V2 conversions. (Slayers 2 Guide: Forge Guide)
Where to craft V2 weapons
There are two forge-related stops, and they serve different purposes. Togane’s workshop in Hidden Mist Village is part of the unlock progression; the Nichirin Forge on the Ouwigahara route is the station associated with V2 weapon crafting. The 90,000 points are reported as a per-craft cost, not just an account-wide unlock threshold. The base weapon is consumed when converted, so select only a weapon you are willing to use up in its current form. Before you confirm the craft
- Make sure the selected item is the base weapon you want converted; it will be consumed.
- Check that you have the full point and material amounts shown for that specific weapon in-game.
- Confirm that you are using the Nichirin Forge on the Ouwigahara route, rather than assuming Togane’s village workshop handles the conversion.
