Follow the Gwent: Big City Players quest
The usual route is to start or track Gwent: Big City Players in Novigrad, then defeat its opponents in this order:

- Vimme Vivaldi: Pick up the notices from the Hierarch Square notice board, then challenge the banker at his nearby bank. Prima Games’ quest guide describes this as the chain’s starting point.
- Marquise Serenity: Find her at the Passiflora and win the match.
- Sigismund Dijkstra: Challenge him at the bathhouse. He is also referred to as Sigi Reuven in the community quest reference. If the Gwent match is not available while his story role is active, check your main-quest progress; Prima Games advises completing A Deadly Plot before trying him.
- Scoia’tael merchant: Follow the quest marker southwest of Novigrad. Prima Games places him in the woods west of Farcorners. Beat him at Gwent to receive Ciri’s card.
The key distinction is that Dijkstra is the third opponent, not the card’s source: the reward comes from the merchant at the end of the chain.
What to do if the quest skips the merchant
Quest and story state can affect how the chain appears in the journal. The community quest reference notes that the journal may temporarily mark the quest complete if you beat Vivaldi and Serenity before meeting Dijkstra in the main story; it says the quest can reopen at the appropriate story point.

If the chain disappears or completes without leading you to the final match, go to the merchant’s location and check whether he offers a Gwent challenge. Prima Games and the Gwent Checklist walkthrough describe this as a possible way to obtain the card separately, though quest experience may be missed. This recovery route is guide-reported, not guaranteed for every save or game version.

The reward’s full in-game name is Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon. The Official Witcher Wiki lists it as a neutral, close-combat Hero card with 15 strength. Its neutral status lets it be used in any of the four faction decks, and Hero cards are unaffected by special cards or abilities, according to Prima Games. See the card entry for the listed stats.
