Connect the Seiki TV to a working power outlet, then press POWER on the remote or on the TV. If you are using the remote, point it toward the set with a clear path. Button location and indicator-light behavior vary by model, so use your TV’s model number and manual for exact details.
Turn on the TV with the remote

Connect the TV’s power cord to a working outlet. In the cited Seiki manuals, connecting power puts the set into standby.

Turn it on without the remote
Press the TV’s own POWER control. The SC-50UK700N manual identifies a POWER control in its front-view diagram and says it switches the set between On and Standby. That does not establish where the control is on other Seiki models. Check the model number on your set and consult its manual rather than assuming the button is in the same place.

Complete first-time setup
On first startup, a Seiki Setup Wizard may appear on screen. Follow its prompts to complete setup. The SE60GY05 manual documents this first-start behavior; setup screens may differ on other models.
If the TV does not turn on
No response from the TV

Check that the power cord is firmly connected to the TV and outlet, and confirm the outlet works. A lack of visible response alone does not establish that the set is defective.

If the TV seems frozen, the SE60GY05 instructions recommend unplugging it for a few minutes, reconnecting power, and trying again. See the SE60GY05 manual.

Try these external checks before concluding the remote has failed:

Remove anything blocking the path between the remote and TV, and point the remote directly at the set.

When the original remote is missing or broken
A replacement remote may be an option, but compatibility depends on the exact Seiki model. Verify the TV’s model number and the replacement remote’s compatibility before buying; the available manuals do not establish that one remote works with every Seiki TV.
When to seek service
If checking the outlet and connections, using the physical POWER control, and trying the applicable reset do not restore operation, consult the manual for your model or contact qualified technical support. The cited instructions do not provide a basis for opening the TV or attempting internal electrical repairs.
